Mine is to quit smoking and to lose 40 pounds. How about some of yall?
-
To try once again to stop smoking. To let go of the past and forgive those that have hurt me. I guess to just be a better, healthier person.

Too true regarding smoking. Someone gave me this suggestion and it really helped. Cut out one cigarette a day from what you usually smoke. If that is too much then make it every two days. It works and your body is able to quit gradually without withdrawal.
-
Same as this year, lose weight, eat healthier and to not waste money - I made a valiant effort this year, but I need to do better.
-
Lost 55lbs this year, so I guess get in shape now.

I agree, i've gone cold turkey for weeks at a time, but usually I always end up picking up another smoke because of craving & habit(like going to a casino, smoking while playing slots is a favorite of mine lol). Sometimes it's not even the nicotine, but it's the motion of smoking the cig that I need to do, if that makes any sense. Some people say "why not just stop?" and those are usually the ones sensible enough to never have picked up a cig in the first place.

Mine are the same every year, haha. Drop the weight, and stop smoking. Oh, and get a better job ;)

chew some gum and get a pen worked for me, remember the cig robs you of money and life!!! Basically just keep your mind running, exercise, text play an instrument talk whatever just keep active and away from smoking, best of luck to those trying to quit

Yeah I'm chewing gum now, it helps me not smoke while driving, especially during traffic (another favorite past-time of mine lol).

Congratulations for quitting smoking! That is not an easy task. Now about New Year resolutions...
I think this year I want to remember that each day is one I won't get back so I want to live each day to it's fullest and happiest.
-
To save every cent I possibly can without effecting my social life, exercise regimen, and most importantly to get a better job!
-
Start being better with money. (shop less, save more)
-
save,save,save.....pay bills eat out less and my biggest one keep loosing weight. I have had this resolution for a couple years now and never seem to actually do it. This year just seems like its the right one and wish me luck cuz i will loose weight this year.
-
My new years resolutions will be to exercise more and get fit, spend more family time with loved ones, run in a marathon, and spend more time on FC. Many of my friends are going to quit smoking for the new year, so I want to wish everyone good luck on their stop smoking campaign. It is hard to quit smoking, I did it by staying busy and keeping my mind occupied.
-
 Mine, too, will be to try to quit smoking and lose about 10lbs - and keep it off. I know I'll want to eat more if i quit smoking. Last time I gained 20 lbs. Maybe I can find low cal things to munch on that I like. One more resolution better be to watch my temper. I have a short fuse without my smokes but they're getting too expensive and maybe I can get rid of this nagging cough. :)
-
LOL the dreaded New Years Resolution lets see the last few years my resolution was to make a resolution and break it I completed it no problems this year I think I am also going for loosing a little weight not too much I still want to be curvy but just toned up a bit
-
to lose weight! and save more money
-
really budget my money, finish school
-
I don't make New Years Resolutions because for the most part I never stick to them. But I do make a commitment to myself on a daily basis to do better today than I did yesterday.
-
i usually say i'm going to lose weight or start exercising more but i think making that my resolution will just be setting myself up for another year of failure. :)
seriously, my number one new year's resolution is to get my 18 month-old daughter potty trained and sleeping in her own bed EVERY night.
-
Not start smoking again, since I just quit and lose 30 lbs.
-
My New Year's Resolution will be to exercise more too. I never exercise which is not good. I have been very lazy lately.
-
I need for my New Years resolution to be to quit smoking but I don't know what it will be yet!
-
Me and my baby are gonna lose weight together.
Get the bodies back that we used to have
-
never really make a new years resolution - not because i would not keep it - it's when you live in the NOW - you are already living the way you need, want and desire to be - IMHO >> In My Humble Opinion - The MUSEUM, Zazzle, deviantART, ArtFire, FineArtAmerica
-
My 2010 New Years Resolution would be to go to bed early between 9-11 pm daily.
-
Mine is to get a regular exercise routine and get fit, and also to try to save money so I can move to a better state.
-
To help my friend lose weight
-
I choose not to make New Year's resolutions because I will not stick to them. No point in false hope. lol. It's great when other people make them if they will actually follow through past the month of January. Good luck quitting smoking. Good for you.
