would you ever hide your cat in your apartment so you wouldnt pay the deposit? :cat:

A long time ago we hid a cat in our apartment to avoid paying the $250.00 deposit but the cat use to sit in the window when we were at work and we got caught :BangHead: - We ended up paying the deposit and all was forgiven. :notworthy:

LOL yes as a matter of fact I have always hid my pet. I think pet deposits are stupid personally speaking. If your going to have pets you know that something might happen and if they tear up the apartment just like a kid could or even yourself you should pay for the damage but $250+ is ridicules for animals. I have a dog and two cats it would be an extra $700 for pets not including pet rent.No thank you! :cat: :dog: :cat:

Pet deposit? I have never heard of such a ridiculous idea. Who comes up with stuff like this? $250 for a cat-they are small animals. Greed is never ending.

if there is damage...that's what the original security deposit can be used for!
but, i do understand when they ask for a "refundable" pet deposit. if cats pee on carpet...their urine is too saturated/oily/amonia-like. and the smell never comes out. having to replace carpeting is expensive.

omg, I have always had to deal with this sort of thing. I had two golden retrievers for over 10 years along with a few cats and three kids. No one ever wanted to rent to us! God willing we did finally find someone who did take us and now we can never leave! lol I did have to hide one of my cats while we stayed in a motel once. It was super hard because she was deaf and would meow really loud. I'll never do that again.
I thought I was the only one that did this! :cat: :cat: :cat: :dog: :dog:
