there are those who dnt admit but are scared
other words they do jump or close their eyes if something is scary
others arent who just keep watching as if it was just another movie
to me it would depend on how scary and how good the effects are
wat about u?

I'm not really fazed by the movies anymore, aside from the occasional laugh when something is just that out there. Mostly late 70s Italian horror does that, not much recent stuff.

Yes, I am afraid of the real scary ones. But I like some scary movies that don't have you dreaming at night. It is one scary movie that I don't ever want to see again and that is Halloween with Michael Myers, and Nightmare on Elm St/Freddie Kruger I hope I'm naming them right. I use to watch this one scary movie all the time and that was Child's Play, I don' think that one is too scary for me to watch.

Yes, I am afraid of scary movies. I will not watch them alone at all or at night or else I won't be able to sleep. :o

I don't watch scary movies. Life is scary enough and all you have to do is just pay closer attention.

I love them. I don't like the gross gory stuff sometimes. It's like a train wreck, you have to watch it, you want to look away but can't.

I depends. I'm completely obsessed with Zombie movies but I hate Slasher ones. I'm not afraid of slasher movies, they just make me sick to my stomach. x.x :-X

no I like scary movies have rented all 5 saw movies that are on dvd and have always liked scary movies since watched dracula and frankenstein movieswhen I was younger.

No, i am afraid of not being scared. Then, i will have wasted 14 dollars at the theater for crap.

THE only way I'll watch them is if I'm with alot of people or if I'm with my boyfriend. Even then, when they end up leaving and I'm alone, I think about scenes from the movie and will look behind me (ex.when I'm running the vaccuum) to make sure no ones there lol. I get nightmares too so I usually pass on the scary ones. I love comedies like Meet the Folkers, dramas, or romance ones..typical girl lol.

Im not scared about the movie, cause i know its fake, unless if its based on a true story, then its creepy.

I love scary movies because of that anxious feeling I get from watching it almost like a scary ride, the thrill of it is what makes it fun.

Depends. If it's extremely quiet, and what's going to happen next isn't predictable, and something jumps in your freaking face.. of course I'm going to get at least a little scared. I'll probably jump. If it's predictable and lame, then no.

im not so much afraid of scary movies, i mean, i can watch them, i guess its just all got to do with the surroundings that im in. like if i were to watch a scary movie in the day time it wouldnt be nearly as scary as if i were to watch one a night. it's all in the mind for me i think. the mind believes what it wants to believe i guess.

I don't know, I have not seen that many movies recently that I would even begin to classify as Scary. I mean even the Saw series was nothing more than a big joke to me.

i am not at all afraid of scary movies. that is probably because lately the so called scary movies aren't that scary but even the older ones that most of my friends or cousins were afraid of, well they just never scared me. i love horror movies, the scarier and gory-er the better. i don't get scared and i don't get squeamish but i love it when the people that i am watching the movie with do get scared.

Hello, just wanted to say that I'm new to this site and I hope I am doing this right.
No, I'm not afraid to watch scary movies. I always know that they are not real so it doesn't bother me. I do like watching them though. I can say the only movie I can say did scare me and has stayed with me to this day is one from long ago called terrior train it was a true scary movie. These that they make today are not scary. :cat:

I love scary movies. They very rarely make me jump, but every once in awhile there is a scare that catches me by surprise.

Yes, I am really afraid of scary movies. I prefer comedies, documentaries, some sci-fi, or musicals instead of scary movies.

I don't like scary movies......many are too gory and horrific!
I'd much rather watch a love story or a musical....I know, I know....I'm in the minority here - just ask my kids! Oh well, I sleep better if I don't have the scary/gory images flashing through my memory.

I'm not afraid of make believe, and I dont fully understand those that are afraid of CGI, and animatronics and cheap acting. ok well maybe there are some well acted horror movies, but I'm not afraid of them in fact I love horror and sci fi films, the trick is to understand the its all just someones job, while still enjoying the films :peace:

Yes, they startle me sometimes when I'm watching, but I don't have nightmares about them unless it involves snakes.....

I love scary movies! Sometimes they make me jump, but I usually laugh afterward for doing it. I have really liked the gory ones lately, like saw and hostel. I am excited about the new Nightmare on Elm Street coming out! I have seen all of them and loved every one of them!

I love scary movies. I also love to watch them with people who like scary movies, but are scared easily. I enjoy waiting until there really in to the movie and doing something to scare them.

Some horror flicks get me to jump but other than that I have never been truly frightened by them. And most of the horror films have a horrible story that is easily predictable and not interesting at all. I think horror film makers count on the thought that the audience will be too afraid to even notice the terrible plot.
Shutter Island was decent though, one of the better horror films

I am a sucker for scary movies as long as I watch them with someone else. And yes I am scared half the time, I am the type that screams and jumps especially with the classic Halloween movie. That is my absolute fave scary movie, they just don't make them like they used to.
Every Halloween I am scared to leave the house because there is always someone dressed like Michael Myers in my neighborhood. He even has the fake knife and turns his head just like him! LOL :o

I can't watch scary movies. I jump through the whole movie and then I do nothing but dream about crazy stuff that night after watching.

I loveeee scary movies. I love them even more when I'm watching them with a person I'm interested in and I can use being scared as an excuse to snuggle up close to them haha.
