I always shop in store I like to see what I'm really getting.

I tend to shop online more, just because I can get better deals.

I buy a lot of clothes (plus I sell clothes for a living), so I like to try stuff on before I buy it... plus i like the service I get when I shop in stores.

I always buy clothing in store because I like to try everything on. I may buy a few things online but most of the time I like to have in my hands the exact product I'm buying.

I don't have my own transportation, so I shop more online which I rarely do. There is a website I use so I can get rebates.

yea, I bought some ink for my printer online not too long ago and it didn't last but a day or two. After that I haven't bought much online

i usualy shop in store, expecialy if its clothes, just to see how they look on you.

I shop more online. I also compare prices from online and the store to see which would be the better deal.

I will the first person to say this but, I shop online more often than at a local mall or store because I'm too lazy to look around and walk from store to store. I am like one of those people that know what they want, go in, get it, and then get out of there fast. Online I find much better deals and shop through great websites that offer rebates. :)

I do about 50/50. If I know what I'm getting online, I will get it. If I'm not sure I will check it out at the store and then maybe search online.

It's sometimes better to shop locally and then go online to compare prices. I generally will find different deals on different products each time. There is never really a set rule that online is better than in store. In-store, you find the products at the finger tips and you can try them on. You can ask questions and get immediate response, best of all, you can make use of the item purchased immediately. Yay ;D
However, the greatest advantage of shopping online is ofcourse not having to stand in line or not find the items in stock.
Online shopping provide a convience (lazy :D) way for me to buy the items in-stock (most of the time anyway) with some waiting period. And then there is the issue of the package deliver at the door and no where to be found. Hmmm... that happened to me a few times, but I was luckily doing business with reputable retailers that will negotiate the issue to be fair.

I'd have to disagree. If you know how to shop online you will almost always find better deals then at the local stores. I do alot of shopping online, especially for electronics and car parts. I almost always use the local shops to see what I'm getting, then order online. There are many ways to save a buck or two online if you know where to look. Search part/manufacturer numbers and if the site offers a coupon code you can almost always find one on the net to save you even more. I have got some crazy deals online doing this.
I do buy at the local shops only when it is convenient and I want it now.

I definitely shop online more, especially living in a small town where Walmart is the only option for a lot of things.

All our groceries, household cleaning supplies, and personal care items we purchase in store. For everything else, the scale is starting to greatly tilt in the direction of online. In the past few years we have greatly increased our purchasing of items online, especially if the item can be had with free shipping or free in store pick-up. Purchasing online allows you to purchase any time of day or night without having to worry about store hours. Plus, you have the ability to receive frequent flyer miles, cashback bonuses, etc. if purchased through various programs you may be associated with. Plus there is the savings in gas use. ;)

I have only recently bought some things online. I never would trust it before, but have come around some.

I like to shop in stores more than online because I like to check the item out before buying it. Plus I like to shop around too.

I always shop online first and if its something thats out of stock from the online site ill go into the store.... i rather not waste gas unless im close to the store to buy things

you can usually find the best deals online but i love to try on my clothes first.
plus you never know who can get ahold of your info online.
so i play it safe and for my taste and go to the stores!!
unless i KNOW certain clothes will fit or they only have them online
then ill buy online and pay smart.

Definately online, you find stuff for sometimes 1/2 or more off than the stores. You can ever go as far as getting it direct from distributor and its cheapcheap, i only use the websites with legit phone numbers because creditcard numbers online equal a big no no.

I have a compulsion to search for things online to buy, and read reviews on the items online. This way I can choose the right item to buy without the hassle of going from store to store.

If I can not find in it the store, I will buy it online. I am looking at a couple playstation 2 games that are not sold in stores in my area. EIther buy it online or have to go 50 miles away to the closest wal-mart that sells the particular game that I want.

I shop online when I need special things I cannot get around here. We dont have a department stores around here but I dont mind because alot of times I get free shipping when I shop online. I shop alot online and shop at the little stores after work which I am greatful we have.

mostly in store. i have the most awkward body shape so i abosulutely must try things on.
and my shoe sizes range from 6 to 7 1/2 soooooo not a good idea to do the whole online thing.
except for band tees, those sizes never vary :P

I shop online and in store. When I shop online I order things where I normally have an account at, but if I don't have an account there I will still order most of the time if it' something I really want, and I also order CDs.
I think that it is a convienent way to shop from the comfort of your own home in your own time and its easy, because some people may not have the time to shop in store due to the fact they may be busy. Nowadays you can shop for just about anything online, and you get better deals. Also what you buy online, you might not see in store most of the time. I still Love shopping in stores too.

the only time that I shop online is when I can not find an item in a local store. We will drink 2 oe 3 hours away from home to get the products that we want.

80% online 20% in stores. Gotta love the lower prices : ) and plus I have the ability to lower prices even more on ebay! Love online e commerce!

I love to shop online. You can get much better deals online if you shop around.

I shop in the stores. I haven't really tried online shopping too much....isn't there a lot of extra charges for shipping and handling?

shopping in store kills your time in these wintery days...but some online stores have good deals with no shipping prices...i love shopping online on The childrens place.

Online more better espically with the hidden coupons no one uses , since online shopping began i never shopped at the malls ever again plus some sites dont include state tax

To date I have never had any problem with CC, identity theft or mis-shipped items

I have always shop in stores!! However, i did my christmas shopping online...i think there are better deals online and saves time and gas money!! I am thinking from now on i am going to shop online!
