Title: First snow on Long Island!
Post by: Matski on December 19, 2009, 12:45:39 pm: the first blizzard fell today and it hit pretty hard with a ton of snow! LIfted my spirits so i decicded to set my goal for today to $25, and i finished it as well, pretty cool how snow brings a whole pile of good luck with it! Happy holidays everyone! :wave:

Post by: samrhett2 on December 19, 2009, 02:56:14 pm: I guess you got what we had yesterday on the coast in South Carolina. It rained all day and night, about 6-7 inches. It feel cold for us here at 47 today. wimpy I guess.

I haven't been watching the news/weather but I'm in Syracuse and we have an inch or so. Not much thank goodness but at least it's white.

They're saying it's going to be in the 40's on Wed. though so I'm wondering if it will be a green Christmas....

I can actually see grass through the layer of snow. I don't think that has happened in December/January for YEARS! I remember at this time last year we had like three feet outside.

Post by: Burkhardtbffl on December 20, 2009, 08:13:20 pm: i actually miss not having snow......we've only had one good snow fall and it was gone in 2 or 3 days at our house.......areas like hamburg got 4 feet so atleast thier pretty much guarenteed a white christmas

Post by: greenmoment on December 20, 2009, 08:20:05 pm: The summer was all rain here.. almost everyday. Which is odd. So this winter I don't really don't know what to expect. I like snowy days when it's about 35 degree's that's nice.. but once it hits 10 degrees ugh! forget about it!

To the person talking about Florida....
I'm originally from there and my father and grandparents still are there...
they have told me they are having unseasonably HOT weather.
