Girl i know u did not fall for that old phishing scam!
First of all paypal will always address you by name in their emails to you..and unless FC is doing somethin with a site called 'Sandbox'..and sending emails from it..thats a dead giveaway..and if the amount being sent to you was an 'odd' amount that u know u didnt cashout with..why would u think that stuff was on the up and up??
I have not gotten paid from FC thru paypal..but im sure their payment alert emails thru paypal look like most other sites...it will announce your first an last name..then say what site sent the money..give u an amount...a transaction ID...and the subject will be the name of the site that sent you the money..
not sure all of the reward emails are identical to that, but the ones i get usually look the same..
When you click on odd links an sign in to sites, u basically hand over ur user name and password..and then they can drain your account..
this just looks shady:http://www.sandbox.paypal.com/us/links/uni
FusionCash, Inc has sent you money with PayPal...Note: If you already have a PayPal account, be sure to log in to your
account and add this email address in the Profile subtab under My
Account to collect your money..if??..if??..how is "FC" sending money if they arent sure she uses paypal??
and i think perhaps FC member must be in on it..cuz how would they even know ur a member of FC???..probably some fool that got banned
and Bosschick you want to change your email password..they arent after your email..they are after your paypal info..and if you clicked on that link..you gave them what they wanted..you need to change your PAYPAL PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY!!!!
-
Yea, it's rediculous how people will try to scam you now. I receive at least 4-5 emails a day to each of my email accounts stating that I have won online lotteries or they need my assistance in cashing money orders or cashiers checks for them, keep 10% and send them the remainder via Western Union overseas. I wish I had all of the millions of dollars they claim I have won each day!! My Mother-In-Law actually received one of those cashiers checks for $1500 and had the bank verify it before she sent them any money which takes 7-10 business days and it was a fraudulent check, but, they say they have no way of tracking them. Seems like they would being that they give you specific instructions and a phone number to contact them to verify you have sent the funds. :dontknow:

I agree you should change your paypal info immediately.
I have had a paypal account for years now. Only once I received an email supposedly from paypal so I sent a copy to them from there site. They replied back saying if was fraudulent. You will never receive an email from paypal that has a link within the email it's self.

.....to be perfectly honest with you Bosschick, i think you posted too much info about your business in this thread..your first an last name..how much is in your account..etc...then again...maybe im just paranoid.. i figure if hackers can hack into the damn Pentagon..Lendal would be a much much easier target..

Well on paypal when you log in at the top right corner you'll find where it says security center and you click on that. Then on the left side of the next page it has when you can report spoof & phishing websites and it will have the email addresses that you can forward all messages to that your not sure about that are supposively coming from paypal. They will email you back and tell you if their site sent you this email. I do ebay and there are alot of people that try to do this so I end up forwarding alot of my messages and its been very helpful.

Yea, I haven't withdrawn any of my funds from paypal yet either. I've been saving mine for Christmas too and I know if I move it I would spend it. LOL. So I was thankful to see that my money was still there before I changed my info.

HEY I REQUESTED A PAYPAL DEBIT CARD AND I USE MINE AT ALL THE STORES WITH NO EXTRA FEE.. ACTUALLY I THINK I GOT MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT FOR USING IN.. ONLY 6 CENTS BUT ITS MONEY...
-
In regards to PayPal, you don't add fusion cash to it. You add you PayPal address to Fusion cash if that's where you want your payment to go to. With the PayPal Debit card, you get cash back, just a few cents, like a reward for using it all the time.
