the stores are certainly hoping that people are in the valentine's day mood -- but really I'm not there yet.
I'm married and I met my hubby for our first date on Valentines day -- it will be 5 years ago soon.... :)

Ohmigod, let me recover from Giftmas first!

Also, New Year's Eve is coming soon - that's my favourite holiday ever! Ask me again about Emotional Blackmail Day about a day prior to it - then I might be ready.

I'm not really thinking about it.  Chances are my husband will have to work.  We've never really made a big deal out of it anyway.  Cards and maybe dinner if he isn't working.  Otherwise, we just make sure to go out to dinner sometime over the next week to remind ourselves that our relationship is important no matter if there is a holiday or not.

Not me. The stores always jump the gun to early. I don't remember the stores doing that when I was a kid.

I'm thinking about what I am going to give but not as far as shopping for it yet. I don't usually start shopping until the beginning of February. I havn't seen anything in the stores inmy area yet but I'm sure it'll be out soon.

I can't wait, on Valentine's Day, I watch a few shows on the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and then go to a hockey game. It is always fun!
I need to figure out which game I'm going to this year.

I'm sorry but I have to say this.  I think Valentines Day is one of the biggest rip-off holidays.  It's simply a way for restaurants, greeting card companies and candy makers to make a ton of money off the already poor public.  I don't need it to be Valentines Day to tell my wife I love her or buy her candy or flowers.

I am not yet thinking about this day...but it's already new years eve, and then the next big thing to celebrate would be this one. Well...I don't really need a reason to celebrate, I do it all the time :)

Most people are trying to recover from Christmas and I think Valentine's is  the last thing on their mind.  The reccession doesn't make for happy thoughts right at  this moment.

If all of you are going to make such a huge freakin deal out of Jebus' birthday you can just suck it up and get in the spirit of mine(feb14) too!!!
