Title: New Year Television Watching
Post by: bostonphil on January 01, 2010, 03:12:52 pm
As a rule, TV programming is not very good on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day.  New Year's Eve in Times Square can get a little boring and I am not a sports fan.  But by surfing the channels, I ended up watching a couple of interesting documentaries.  I watched a doc on Patty Hearst on New year's Eve on MSNBC and on New Year's Day, I watched a doc on modern day pirates and pirating on Fox.   They were both very interesting and informative.

My husband and I avoided the whole problem by taking a hike in Griffith Park.

I watched the Burn Notice marathon until like 5am except when the fireworks at the inner harbor were going off (it only made sense to watch them on tv if I can hear them from my house) and my son really enjoyed them.
