When I was a kid I loved "Are you Afraid of the Dark" on Nickelodeon. Any other shows you think they should bring back?
-
Too many to name majority from 90s and late 80s knowing the cable industry they would invent a channel that carry all the good shows and up the or double the price just for that channel smh
-
The waltons
THE WALTONS
i liked the waltons
maybe they could bring back the waltons!
-
Ok, does anyone remember, "Beyond Belief, Fact or Fiction"? The show where they played a bunch of crazy stories and you had to guess which ones were true or not. I LOVED that one!
-
Several good shows in recent memory which were axed before their time. The two shows I would love to see brought back most would be Life on NBC and Life on Mars on ABC.
I also enjoyed Surface and Invasion a few years back and really disliked the cliffhangers the shows ended on. :BangHead:

There are a few shows I would like to see them bring back.
Journeyman - never got going because of writers strike
Quantum Leap - Yeah I think we all are thinking this, how did they never end this show properly.
Playmakers - one of the best shows on tv but the NFL did not like that it was showing the league as it truly is.
-
I like watching the Wild Thornberies with my kids. It was a great show. And I liked the Waltons, too.

Excellent show I forgot about. Would love to see more of that as well! With the whole Leno debacle it would be nice to see them return the show to fill one of the nights at 10pm. But, alas, it's a pipe dream, especially with Kevin McKidd now on Grey's Anatomy.

Defenately loved Doug Does anyone remember Ahh Real Monsters?

I don't remember many that the leading actors/actresses have died so here is what I propose we do Let's get a petition to cable companies out and protest the junk that is on t.v. now!

Yes, I'd love to see a TV movie... an update on where Sam is and whether he's content. The series ender made me sad for Sam, even though I was happy for Al :(

I'm going to go with the nerdy choice and say Invader Zim. Gawd, was that show awesome.

-
I really miss "You Cant Do That on Television" on nickelodeon....
-
King of the Hill and Joan of Arcadia
-
I was heart broken when they ended Charmed, Third Rock From The Sun, Home Improvement and Roseanne. I know you can watch reruns, but I'm always thinking what would they all be doing today, lol. They brought back Beverly Hills 90210 back why not other great shows from the past (not saying that Beverly Hills 90210 is or ever was a great show).

Doug and Hey Arnold were amazing.
But i remember when i watched Hey Arnold as a kid it just felt...creepy. They were always in the dark or in alleys or something sad/bad was happening.
As for doug, all i remember is that Skeeter dude.

Glee will return this spring, Tuesday, April 13th to be exact, at 9:00PM after American Idol. It has only gone on hiatus, which seems to be the norm in network television now for shows to air a chunk, go on a long hiatus, and then return with another chunk. Whatever happened to re-runs?
Glee has also been renewed for a full second season, so there is plenty more to come. ;)
-
I can't wait for True Blood to return.
-
I need entourage back : )
-
if they could bring back a old show they should bring back pop eyes and tom and jerry lol
-
I miss some of the pbs stuff i used to watch. I really liked starting my day with that little monkey Curious George but our local PBS doesn't run it anymore. I used to enjoy Mad about You.
-
i was so mad when they took dragon ball z off the air.
-
Firefly was one that got dumped way too early. I also loved MST3K. I'll be very sad when Lost goes off the air later this year.

Your anger level must have been OVER NINE-THOUSSAAAAAANDDD!!!!!
Oh and home_teachin-- King of the Hill is still on the air if you're from the midwest. Check Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It also plays on the basic cable channels in the early evening but I forget which.
To all of you Are You Afraid of the Dark fans-- look it up on youtube ;D
-
:sad1 I'm still upset that they took off "Garison's Gorillas', back in 1969 !!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yeah, just about anything from the 90s lol
There's so many I loved from that decade.
Including I guess every cartoon. Every so often my sister and I will go nostalgic and wax on about how the cartoons of today are so stupid, don't teach you anything, and put in fairly terrible art and storylines. Save for a couple (like Being Creepy teaches about bugs, which is cool. Can't really think of any others though).
Some 80s cartoons too, like Gummy Bears (still sing this theme song spontaneously occasionally), The Littles, and Popples ;D
I agree with Quantum Leap, although I didn't watch it when it was airing normally, mostly SciFi reruns.
Weirdly, I've been watching 70s game shows recently. Not saying they need to come back, but much more entertaining to me than American Idol or Who Wants to be a Millionaire or whatever.
From this decade? Hmmm... Stargate Atlantis. I crushed very hard on that show.
Torchwood also, not because it was good, but because I'm ever optimistic that, if given another chance, "there's only one direction they can go from here! ... or they could go sideways" -.-; :BangHead: lol)
My sister's boyfriend watches The Pretender online. I'm almost ashamed to have anything in common with him, but the show is too awesome so I let it slide.
Just because no one has said it and probably never will, but Big Wolf On Campus - I never really watched Buffy or Charmed or whatever, but really found this show adorable.
i was so mad when they took dragon ball z off the air.
