As far as pudding, chocolate, cake, chocolate, but if it is a straight out chocolate bar, white chocolate.

It depends on what for. For ice cream / milkshakes, I'd go with vanilla. For a candy bar, chocolate. Chocolate is also more versatile in other forms of cooking. I usually like chocolate in baked goods (esp chocolate chip cookies). I've also used chocolate in some recipes that you normally wouldn't think to use it in. Adding a little unsweetened chocolate to chili gives it a more earthy flavor. Unsweetened chocolate can also work well in some Bar-B-Que rubs. I guess for shear usefulness as well as flavor, I'd have to go with chocolate.

I prefer Vanilla.  But there isn't a flavor of ice cream that I'm willing to turn down.   :thumbsup:

i love them both with the swirl but if i had to choose one it would be chocolate.

My favorite is chocolate. I don't like pie, but I like homemade German Chocolate cake.

I'm sorry, both are too bland for me, or should I say too "Vanilla" *Chuckle*.

Mint Chocolate Chip all the way!, Orange Sherbert for a close second.

Depends on what it is. Ice cream, I like Vanilla with lotsa toppings or on cake or pie. But I prefer Chocolate candy or hot chocolate.

Chocolate, pretty much.  German chocolate cake, Rocky Road ice cream.

But there's something to be said for dreamy French Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup on top.  ;D

Definitely prefer Chocolate, unless your talken about the white chocolate, I prefer that over any chocolate
