I am a SAHM but my husband works. He is always fussing about people getting better deals then he does at work.
Every month we get:
His Salary
$700 in Car Allowance (car payment is only $200 so that covers our insurance, maintenance, etc.)
Health Insurance (company covers 50% of cost)
Match of 25% on 401k
A huge order of Omaha steaks sent to the house on every major holiday from his boss. (I love those apple tartlets)
I don't think that is a bad deal - but I wouldn't know how to compare it to others.
Just wondering????

I get to fly free domestically. If I fly internationally it's only $50. I get to stay in nice hotels free. I get good discounts on other travel related things like cruises.

Flight attendant. Some airlines are hiring we just had a new training class come out last week and some of my co-workers are going to other airlines.

If I ever get to go back, a vacation, sounds pretty goofy, but I spent my earned vacation in a hospital bed, with a broken leg, broken foot, broken ribs, broken shoulder, yes, I would truly like a real vacation.

previous jobs gave me better "perks" than my current position.... i used to have phone, car, handheld computer
now I have much more job security, more $$ in salary and we have great health benefits, retirement, etc.
I also know of companies that pay 100% of daycare --- I have never worked for one of these.

Perks sound nice. I'll make an attempt to be happy for you....lol. I got nothin; uh..I can go use the bathroom and water fountain, oh and they pay me.

my hubby has no "perks" lucky to have a job.. tired of eating hotdogs, now,,

First of all, every job has its perks. Whether one sees it or not, there are good things. If you find yourself not seeing these things, GET OUT now. :)
It's tough to list everything in one sitting because everyday is another day to gain experience. The best part of my job is working with people. I love being able to communicate with people (although it doesn't always goes well). I learn the different personality types and the unpredicable lies that can come from sometime what seems to be the most innocent frame. I can work on my learning skills and my patient through working with people. I also love to work with numbers so taxes and $$ are a plus. Working the 8-5 PM Monday to Friday is awesome because I know what my schedule will be for the next 12 months and on. Working with computer each day help me to overcome my fear of being behind with technology.
