Title: how do you reward yourself?
Post by: Valerie1979 on February 15, 2010, 09:24:44 am: today I had to take my 2 yr old to the dr. as his "reward" if he was good i asked if he wanted chicken nuggets or pizza and he exclaimed "CHEESE PIZZA" (this is a treat in our house!)

After his wonderful behavior at the dr. office he and I went and shared a slice of cheese pizza and then got some chocolate ice cream -- he has been an angel all morning! :)

How do you reward yourself?

i find that disciplining myself isn't that easy,
so calling anything a reward doesn't seem
exactly right... which is my own fault, of course.

for some reason, on the rare occasion that i buy
a magazine, it feels like a reward. probably
because i force myself not to so much.
$5 is a lot for one these days, especially when i
know there are thousands of old free ones lying
around somewhere. i just haven't found where
yet :P

Check to see if your neighborhood has a "freecycle" group -- mine has one on yahoo and often you can get these types of things from them.

Usually I go get gas n stop off at the dollar store to buy a bag of candy. Or my favorite Jack Links jerky =D If I ever had a bit of money on hand and I come across a good deal like on a shirt or something I usually pick it up. Havnt had any rewards in awhile :/

That is funny. The HOME of Jack Links Jerky is only 8 miles from the house where i grew up (the little ole town in northern wisconsin) -- they sure have distributed it well.

well if i could win the big prize in kohlers kontest id buy myself a peperoni pizza and a banana split :thumbsup:
