Do you think it's necessary to set the clocks back an hour when, in six months, we put them right back where they would be?

"Springing" forward is supposed to save energy by using less electricity in the evenings. It makes sense. I never enjoy "Falling" back though. Not a fan of 5PM nightfall.

I agree I hate when its 4-5 pm and it feels like its 9pm and vice versa. It is very annoying for me. :peace:

i know right?

Nope, retarded.
Created by a bunch of railroad tycoons in the 19th century.
Dont need to save any freaking daylight.
-
Nope I don't think we need it. :bs:

I don't really see a need for it. Isn't there a couple of places in the US that does not go by daylight savings time?
-
It doesn't really bother me. I hate it for the first few days after we have to change the clocks, but then I don't mind it anymore, until the next time....i guess it is annoying lol :dontknow:

I think they do the time changes for the benefit of kids and their school schedules. Although I do get sick of resetting my clock twice a year.

I don't see why we need it.

i really don't mind it at all. it might be because most of the clocks in my house adjust themselves. :)
as for the the longer/shorter days, i like it because then we can do more things on summer evenings because it gets dark later, and we can enjoy holiday nights earlier because it gets dark sooner.

No I dont think so .... its a little bit pointless too me :P

I always look forward to fall's daylight savings time. The idea of gaining an hour of sleep is bliss for me as I do not get much sleep as it is. What I can't stand though is how it always seems to take forever to get adjusted to the time change, always thinking it is either later or earlier than the actual time.
