Title: Getting time to start Yard-work who is ready for it?
Post by: Elizabethar on March 16, 2010, 11:24:41 am
I know I'm not, but I guess it's a good way to loose extra weight from the Winter I put on.

Although I dread the allergies I will suffer through in the coming few months, I can't wait to get back outside and enjoy fresh air and sunshine.  Being cooped up indoors all winter is long and draining.  I can't wait to get outside and putter around the yard.  Already have a few projects I've been thinking of doing.

There's a great deal of satisfaction cleaning up your yard, landscaping, and just making everything look nice in general.  Maybe it's because almost everyone can see your yard (especially your front), wheras indoors, only those you want to see what you've done can see it.

I am sooo ready for it!  We are going on vacation next month and won't be back until May so it will be time to get started when we get back.  I LOVE SPRING!

I am not really fond of yard work but I love being able to get outside and do things (evan if it is yard work).  I do like the smell of fresh cut grass.  The weather has been so nice and its nice to get out and take walks.

I am going to do some yard work today.  I lost a dogwood tree and 5 bushes due to severe cold/wind and flooding.  My backyard gets flooded a bit whenever it rains.  I am going to bring in some more dirt to try to fix this problem.  I think because of the flooding is why at I lost at least some of my shrubs/tree.

I wish I knew of ways to get trees or shrubs cheaper.  It is really disapointing when you spend the money on landscaping (what little we have these days) and then the stuff dies.  I would like to add more and also repalce this stuff, but it all costs money.

I don't have a yard...so I'll be supervising all of you from afar. You missed a spot.
