So, I'm positive this has been not only asked and answered but is most likely out of the question. But what about adding another payment option, like being able to upload your funds to a pre-paid debit card? I'm not sure how that'd work but it's just an idea. I don't have a bank account nor a paypal account anymore so my last check went to waste :(

I can understand if you don't have a bank account, but anyone can get a paypal account for free. And you can keep the amount in your account as long as you want, but ultimately you need a bank account to transfer the money from your paypal account.
The other way to use the money from paypal account is to use it to buy something from a site like ebay.

Go to a check cashing place in your town you'll have to pay a fee but there is no reason why your check should go to waste

You are right. Why would a check go to waste? There are places that offer free checking. If you can't find that, open a free savings. Jeezee, our grocery store will cash them if you have a frequent shopper card there. Or you can even sign it over to a friend, have them cash or deposit it and give them a buck or two for their trouble.

Signing over a check to someone else is forbidden by the Terms of Service and the check may be returned if you do. Our bank does not allow it.
Unfortunately, prepaid cards are rather expensive, which makes them unpopular. We used to offer cashouts via ePassporte (a stored value card) and it accounted for less than 1% of cashouts due to the high ($5) fee. There is no way around that kind of charge.
If you want a prepaid card, your best bet is to sign up for AccountNow (an offer on here) and then load it via Direct Deposit for your FC earnings. Last I checked, AccountNow waived their monthly fee when you have Direct Deposit, so you can get the card affordably.
samrhett2: Lots of people cannot get or don't want to get a bank account, so prepaid cards are really the only banking-like option available.

doesn't wal-marts cash any checks?

Best option is always cashing at a bank. If you have an account thats good. Check cashing places are good just watch some of their fees. But i have found some grocery stores will charge you a 1.00 charge to cash your check. SOmetimes more depending on store.

Thanks for the info. I would have never known signing over a check was not allowed. Whoops! Guess I need to read the terms of service again. And I guess there are people who don't want to open accounts at banks, but it sure would make it difficult to do anything money related. Unless you drive everywhere to pay your bills and you are lucky enough to have the creditors all be local, because I don't t think you are supposed to mail cash and I am sure that it isn't a good idea. Now days I am finding that everyone is almost demanding that bills be paid through auto draft, which I don't like, but I do it if there is no other option or if it qualifies me for a discount, like my Direct TV bill.

Paying bills is not all that hard most places are local and if not you can always get a money order :)

I am in bad standing with paypal due to an ex, so no go there.
I cannot open a bank account for personal reasons.
There are no check cashing places in my area.
Grocery stores only cash paychecks, they are very strict on that policy.
I would have found a way, if it were possible.
My only option is to sign checks over but as it was stated, that is forbidden here.
Thanks for the heads up, Admin. I'll check into that offer.

I DO NOT understand why anyone would not want a bank account, unless you can't count and keep up with your money. BUT HEY This is Shakily STILL AMERICA and everyone can still choose wheather they want a bank account or not.
I am proud to say that I made about $1,000 ( YES I said a thousand dollars) in FREE MONEY, last year with various bank accounts. I am up to around $300. so far this year.

Also if you have greendot you may use that as a payment choice via Direct Deposit. Greendot waives the load fee and if you make a purchase everyday they waive the monthly fee. I hope this helps as well.

So far I think the payment options work well. A lot of people don't seem to have a problem, but I guess it is an idea to add that.

Hi,
I'm sorry that your check was wasted. That's terrible, especially in these hard economic times.

I can certainly understand WHY that signing over a check to someone else is FORBIDDEN by Fusion Cash. It is for your protection. Just in case someone should steal your check and forge your name on it and cash it at their bank.
THIS IS ONE THING THAT I AM IN COMPLETE AGREEMENT WITH FUSION CASH. THANK YOU FUSION CASH !!
