I love Netflix but I am having a hard time picking out movies lately. Can anyone suggest some moves from the 80's or 90's that are somewhat family friendly?

I'm a Neflix member too.
Log in on your Netflix member page. Click on the Family section and it'll give you a list. You can also type in what you are looking for as well.

Anything directed by Guy Ritchie. He is a genius when it comes to movies.

Both of those are really great movies but neither of them are family oriented though. Perhaps try Homeward Bound or Beethoven for kids any kids.

If you haven't seen this movie, you should watch it. The Adventures of Milo and Otis.
Great movie, and kids love it too!

They are getting in a lot of newer movies, go to the just added on instant, also select your genre, it will help you pick movies out. My movie Barfly is on tomorrow night on regular tv, no one had this movie, not even netflix, I can't believe I came across it, video stores do not even have it.

I love that movie too, its a bit satirical of the whole fantasy genre aswell which makes it funny.
Also, *bleep* is really cool its a crime comedy [As I stated exactly one month ago ;)]. True its not really a family flick but if you ever want to see a great film with other grown-ups try a Guy Ritchie film: Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels; *bleep*; RocknRolla Oh and he also did the new Sherlock Holmes movie but his previous films are better.
