Title: Can my friend that I referred do offers on my computer?
Post by: prillycake on May 02, 2010, 03:34:59 pm
She registered for FC on her moms' computer using my referal link, but she can't use it that much. So can she use my computer to do surveys and offers? I just want to make sure that wouldn't be violating any rules? Thanks.

Hello, Unfortunately your friend can not log in or complete offers on your computer. You must always only log in from your own internet connection

I recently referred one of my co-workers.  We have extra time at work, so therefore do offers and such at work.  Her address is in a complete different town than mine.  My referral bonus from her signing up and her completing an offer recently got denied.  Any ideas why?

Hello, It is not her address that is the problem it has to do with the I.P (Internet provider) address you can not share a computer with another FC user.

Her home IP is different than mine.  I do about half and half at home and on my work computer.

It still sounds to me like you would be sharing and internet connection to complete surveys. Which is not allowed.

I had a smiliar issue and my brother tried to sign up/denied.  I just was home at my parents house  (my bro lives there) and completed a survey there but he cannot be on the same one.  good thing to remember so you dont mess up your account.

So, basically because we both do things at work....I could get disqualified??  Thats a little strange.  Most websites at least have a two person limit.  Plus, what if I was to do a survey at a local coffee shop....anyone else that does offers there would get denied or disqualified.  Crazy!!

Basically.  :sad1:

I would imagine that is why they put all this info in the TOS so better safe then sorry stick to doing your surveys at home and you wont have a problem. Let your friend know too
