how do to lose weight and keep it off

I wish I knew. I've been actively trying to loose weight for almost two years now. I recently purchased Dr.Oz' Your On A Diet and have so far lost 5 pds this week. I'm going to stick with the program in his book and see if it works for a long period of time. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Persistence, patience, eating right, and having fun!
a awesome diet that is healthy and just the right portion.
a treat every so often, candy bar,cookie,chips(not too often, a snack during the day wont kill u )
exercise( aerobic exercise) start off with walking 10 minutes a day then in 3 weeks increase it to 15 minutes a day
join an aerobics class or stay at home and follow aerobics on a video if u have enoigh room to do it while u watch it on tv!!
HAVE FUN!! Exercise produces endorphins an dmakes u feel happy and energized!! You will sleep better at night with exercise.
play sports and do exercises that u like and that make happy.
Make sure u get enough food and don starve yourself!! you will never lose weight starving yourself.
Eat food from every food group and just a little bit of the fattening/junk foods!
Dont forget that its about having fun and feeling happy!!!! Dont overdo it by too much exercise and never give up!!!
Exercise and watching how much u eat and what u eat shouldnt be a temporary thing in your life. It should be everyday. Your health and happiness are important and looks should come last. enjoy the food u eat and exercise to have fun and feel alert and ready to live!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! I need to lose weight...about 30 pounds!!!
