Title: Windows 7
Post by: Daneesa on June 01, 2010, 02:57:27 pm
Has anyone changed to Windows 7 and happen to be experiencing any problems you weren't experiencing before? I switched from Vista to 7.

Thank you for the feedback. At least I know it isn't just me. Have you encountered any typing problems? Curser jumping to where you
don't want it?

luckily i have not had any problems with windows 7- i love it! i love how all the features are so easy to duplicate with the keyboard instead of just the mouse like other versions. then again, anything was an improvement over the windows 2000 on my old laptop :)

I have 7 on my laptop and I think it hates me. My Office 2007 crashes when I save. It hates me. I am taking a office class so I do a lot of saving :(. But if you have more than one program running if you hold down the Windows key and tap the TAB key its so cool. :) Its how you change between windows.

I've been using Windows 7 at work for months now, and haven't had any problems.  I've got XP at home and wish I had the cash for a new computer that was capable of running Windows 7 decently.

I recently got a new laptop and it came with Windows 7, which I'm realllllly happy about because I hated Vista (and my ex-laptop). I haven't had any problems with Windows 7 itself, but it does use a lot of resources and memory or something, so if you have a little too much running at the same time (or another program that hogs resources too) your computer will probably crash or just freeze.

I have Vista and have never had any problems with it.  I think Windows 7 is still in its embryo period and they have a lot of glitches to work out of the program.  So I think if I ever do change, it will be sometime before I do.  If it ain't broke, keeps yours paws off.

My friend changed to it, and metioned that it went "seamlessly." So, I don't know what that means.

My new PC came with window 7 and it is driving me nuts.  I'm not into all the latest technology by any means, just because of the fact that it is too complicated and it drives me nuts when I can't figure something out.

Yeah I wouldn't let the few stories of some scary you off from Windows 7. IMO it is like Vista but makes alot of things 10x easier and better.
