Title: Contact lenses

Do you wear contact lenses or glasses?   I hate to wear glasses but I have somehow scratched my eye wearing my contact lenses so I am trying to only wear my lenses a few hours a day.  I can't see a foot in front of me without something!  :crybaby2:

I am sorry to hear about your eye. :sad1: I would prefer to wear contacts but my eyes get so dry just after a few hours no matter what! :'( So I am stuck wearing my glasses as well.. I hope one day to get Lasik eye surgery

I wear both at times. I have allergy's so I can only wear my contacts when my allergies are not acting up if I do wear em when they are acting up my eyes burn and are sooo itchy more than when I wear my glasses.

Yes I wear contacts. I've always had very bad. The perfect eye vision is about 20/20 and my vision is 20/700! My glasses I only wear at home before bed or in the early morning. You should go to your eye doc to make sure it's not a serious tear. You don't want to mess around with your eyes, you only get one set!

I wear glasses.  I hate the thought of my finger near my eye.  I'm afraid I'll poke my eye out!  haha

I wear contacts.  I don't even have a pair of glasses anymore.  My skin is oily, and the frames and lenses would get grimy and have to be washed several times a day.  It was just gross.

I wear glassess because my eyes have a rare condition that i can't were contacts at all....but i got used to them though o3o

When I first got contacts it would take me about 15 minutes to get them in my eye.

I wear both.  I prefer contacts, but they tend to get too stick/dry/scratchy after a while, so I have to switch to glasses.

Whoa, I'm sorry you scratched your eye. Do you wear the hard kind or the soft kind? Maybe you have really sensitive eyes. I wear contact lenses most of the time, for school and when I go out...but if it's just a lazy day I wear my glasses. Personally, I like contacts better just because you don't notice they're in your eyes, and people look better without glasses.

One time I spend an hour digging into my eye trying to "rescue" my contact....only to realize...it was already out....good times...good times...

I actually wear both depending how i feel. Your eyes need to rest from time to time. NOT ONLY WHEN YOU SLEEP. Wow, that sure made me sound old. But if you have been wearing them as long as i have. from 9 to 32 is a long time. You have to make sure you have a pair of glasses that fit your face, make sure to have NON glare and transition lenses. n u should be straight

I wear both contacts and glasses. I wear my contacts during the day mostly then at night I take them out and put my glasses on. i try not to sleep in my contacts because thats when my eyes get dry but sometimes I forget to take them out lol
