Title: Signing up for the survey sites...
Post by: hrw on June 27, 2010, 07:17:29 pm
Quick question....I have gone through and signed up for quite a few of the survey sites and (silly me) I didn't keep track of the ones I have signed up for.  What happens if i try to sign up for the same site twice?  Will it let me?  Will I still receive credit for it?

If you are using true/correct information, no, it will not allow you to sign up twice because your email address will be flagged as already having an account.

FWIW, most of the other sites also pay pretty well.

If I'm not sure whether I've signed up for a site, I try to login with my usual user ID and password and see what happens.  If it doesn't recognize me, then I haven't signed up and can register.  If it does, then I can't sign up again.  Most sites do not permit you to have 2 accounts (read the terms of service) -- and if you try to set up a 2nd acct with the same ISP -- both accounts will be cancelled -- especially true for PTC or GPT sites.

When you are doing offers, it's very important for you to keep track of what you've done since it's considered fraud if you try to do the same offer twice.  There is a GPT Tracker site that helps you do that.  (I haven't used it since I'm not an offer person, but if I got back into it, I would.)

It should tell you. I tried to make accounts for me and my girlfriend at several sites, and it told me I couldn't.
