Title: avatar the last airbender- best movie ever or should've stayed home???

i was just on fandango trying to buy some avatar tickets and started reading the reviews and basically all of them were thumbs down and i was wondering if everybody felt like that?

well for me i dont really use people comment to rate a movie i rate it my self....so im going to see it any, maybe whats boring to them is awsome to me

My son and his friend went to it and they came back w/ "worst movie ever".  I will still see it but will wait for DVD.

I thought Avatar was awesome...haven't see the Last Airbender yet.

I usually love movies others don't like, so *disclaimer* cannot be held responsible if you don't like it... ;D

Put it this way. If "Airbender" is the best movie ever then I am the richest person in the world. Too long, great graphics (again), but those got very old, very quickly. I hope you enjoy it though! ;)

Avatar's a great movie- I saw it in the theater twice, and I never see movies in the theater.  Can't speak to The Last Airbender.

I didn't like Avatar. The 3D effects were great, but the rest stunk.

This discussion is about the movie about people who can control the elements; fire, water, air, and earth. The name was suppose to be 'Avatar the Last Airbender' but they had to drop 'Avatar' because another movie used it for their name.


Avatar the Last Airbender was a great cartoon, but I am not expecting much for the movie. It seems to be difficult for people to make a good movie based on a cartoon or video game. Look at Street Fighter (the one with Jean-Claude Van Damme) and Mario Brothers.

Didn't see it yet, but planing to I love the cartoon series and I'm curious as to whether the film remained true to the animated TV series. :)
