i have a myspace and a facebook account. i don't really use my myspace account anymore but its still up. whenever i check it i have messages from strangers telling me i'm hot and they want my number! WHAT?!
one guy went so far as to type an entire two pages about his dead girlfriend and how he never thought he would feel love again until he saw my pic and now he feels he has a reason to live. again.....WHAT THE...???
for one thing my profile isn't set to private so anyone who went on my page would see that i'm married with children OH and this guy with the dead girlfriend was 10 years younger than me! did they bother to look at my page to see more about me? or just look at my pic and thought "hmmm she looks like a slutty moron who gives her number out to strangers...let me see if i can tap that"
i can't seem to wrap my head around this behavior! :dontknow:
does anyone else have this problem? and what's more is there anyone here that will admit to having done this to someone??
i'm truly very curious!

Yes... their are lots of weirdos out :- kinda scarry they use those social website as a tool to get gurls or just to be weird.

I had that happen to me on myspace...thats why i put my profile to private. Facebook so far havent had any idots contact me!

Happened once then I changed my myspace name on there to Tinkerbitch and am rude to tards who think it a dating site lmao so no problems now lol..As for facebook nope!!

Mine's on private but I always got friend requests from a bazillion creepy guys. When I was younger I got tons of them from creepy old guys, too. :

You're right that guy's a total psycho! I'd close that account right away because it doesn't seem to have any privacy protection. When creating, an account you should never feature your pictures. I'd use an avatar or cartoon image for a photo instead of the real on. When you're on line it's all about fantasy not reality. Don't become a victim to those online psychos protect your identity at all costs! :thumbsup:

you know guys never cease to amaze me ::)
about 7 years ago i had a job located "on the wrong side of the tracks" lol but i had to take the bus to and from.
so anyhow it seemed like every other day while i'm waiting for the bus, guys are honking and pullin over asking if i need a ride (i mean yes i was looking rather smokin hot most of time :o ;D)
but what kind of girl actually responds to this? do guys ever get a girl by honking LOL this just seems so ridiculous to me.
one day the store i worked at was locked up cuz i got there a little too early and a guy pulled up and motioned me over. i thought he was gonna ask if the store was opened but he started asking me my name and how old was i and what was i doing. i was kinda freaked cuz the parking lot was empty and nobody was around except me and this dude.
so i take a step back from the car and just vaguely answer his questions and then i notice while he is talking to me he is playing with hisself :o
thank God the manager pulled up at that point and unlocked the store, i think i may have been raped and murdered if she hadn't!!!

I had one randomly message me on myspace and started asking me questions about what my husband and I did in bed. I was like whatever and blocked him but its strange. I guess when you get online, you never know what you'll run into.

Oh wow, that is scary and SICK! What the hell is wrong with people?! Where did their parents go wrong raising them?? The last place I lived it was like a daily occurrence for guys to honk at me and ask me if I needed a ride...how stupid do they think women are?! My motto is trust NO ONE...

Myspace attracts weirdos, because you use a "username" instead of your real one, and it's a very causal site. Facebook is more for real people and people who want to connect to family and friends in a really good environment. I get friend requests from random people on both, but no creepy anything. I don't use myspace anymore tho.

Yes. Women hit on me all the time. My email is always full of requests to be with me. I cant help it that i am hot, but this is getting to be too much for me. Those hot women need to quit it now!!! So if your one of those chicks that keep filling my email box with requests, I cant fulfill them anymore. So STOP!!!!!!
No, really, I don't have a prob with date requests, I am just filling narcissistic . Just alot of spam about biz opps. That really gets annoying.

That is why I don't use Myspace anymore. Too many creeps. I just stick with Facebook and never have any problems.
