Title: Have you ever eaten something you immediately or later regretted?
Post by: tzs on July 11, 2010, 12:30:15 am: Shrimp! Ohh I got some stories to tell about that!

1st time, my mom had a shrimp platter for her little after-work get-to-gether at my house when I was younger, and once everyone got there,
She offered me a shrimp......
I dipped it in marinara sauce......
and took a bite........
AND IMMEDIATELLY GOT SICK!!!!!!! :sad1:
(in front of my moms co-workers!)

PARTY-OVER!

My mom's little gathering was kind of done after that!!! Nooooo ooonnnneee was really hungry anymore!

After that incident, I decided for myself that shrimp was only neccesarry for my fishing line when I go to the coast..........or so I thought!

2nd time, I was playing bingo with my friends here in Austin, and they offered me some chinese food they had picked up right before the session started. I took a small fork full, and kinda turned my nose up to it. About 15minutes later (and 2 bingos so far, Yea!), my stomach turned on me, and I began to sweat. I felt like I was turning green, and then, blue, and then purple, ect.......
I called my Husband on my cell and said: "Taylor! I've gotten really sick all of the sudden, Im really not sure why! My friends keep tellin' that I am pregnant!"
He got a GOOD LAUGH off of that one, and so did my friends! All night long!!!

Taylor: "Well, what have you eaten??"
Me: "My friends pushed me to eat this "lo mein" stuff that they go......"
Taylor: "...LO MEIN CAN HAVE SHRIMP INSIDE OF IT! AREN'T YOU ALLERGIC!!!!! WHAT!!!! WHEN DID YOU EAT IT?!?!?!"

My friends are STILL laughing at me hysterically,I drop the cell phone on the table,leap from my chair, and everything is suddenly going
i n S l o w m o d e. . .

ME:"OHGHUHMMM!" running to the bathroom, holding my mouth.....
???(in the middle of a bingo hall infront of VAST NUMBERS OF FOLK during a game!!!) ??

So, I go to the bathroom, do my buisness, and come back out.......

My friends have this look about them.....
and they say....
"ARE YOU PREGNANT?????"

"AHH-AHA, HA HA-NO...... I'M ALLERGIC TO SHRIMP!!!!! THANKS FOR PUSHIN' YOUR FREAKIN' GRUB ON ME YA JACKHOLES!!!"

Needless to say, I was made fun of for a while.....A LONG WHILE!!!!!

I also ended up hitting 4 bingos that night, I guess luck comes at a cost?

I can't even put a trace of shrimp in my mouth, or I'll blow some serious chunkage!!!!!!! :crybaby2:
That Sucks, man! I try to avoid it at any cost, Unless-of course, I go fishing in Corpus!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :BangHead:
P.S. i really hate shrimp!!!!!!! :thumbsup:
