Title: Do you need a verified pay pal account?

I don't have a verified pay pal account. All I have is a H and R block emerald debit card or credit card(whatever it is) and I don't think pay-pal will take that.

I think I know you can request check but pay pal is so much easier and faster. Ah doesent make a big difference but just wondering.

Yes your paypal account must be verified. I doubt a prepaid card can be used to verify. As it was previously stated you can request a check or even direct deposit.

Actually I had previously used my pre-paid debit card to verify with paypal.  So to answer your question, that is a yes.  All of the information you need is on the direct deposit form that H&R Block gave you for direct deposit with your employer.  Good Luck!

FC requires you to have it so they know its a real account.  You don't have to a verified account for paypal it self but its better to have it.  Its easy to do and only takes few minutes to do.  It is more for if your going to be a seller gives you a better standing if you are verified.  Mys sister had listed with paypal just a credit card for online purchasing for a long long time before she ever verified her account with them.  She said she only verified the account b/c they are going to use it for business purposes.  Just make sure that your email  address is listed with paypal and that you are set up with them meaning a member ship account and make sure you give the same address that you have listed with paypal as the same that is listed with FC and when you cash out it will go to Paypal without a problem it will show an account balance and you can request it from paypal and they will send it in form of a check if you want it.  Or you can have it put in a banking account if you list one with them also.  It depends what you want to do.  My sister has been using them for years and loves them.  Hope I could help some.  Have fun.   :thumbsup: :wave:

Yes, I have a verified paypal account and it's great!  I would highly recommend getting one and then verifying so that you can receive money from multiple sources including family!

You have to get you PayPal account verified before your account can be completed with PayPal. If your account is not verified after a certain amount of time, you will not be able to receive any payments via PayPal.

I recently sat up a paypal account.  I wish I wouldn't have.  They say you don't have to have a bank account to use PayPal and then when you try to use the money that's in your account they require a bank account or credit card to verify.  I pay cash for everything so I have neither.  Now I have an open PayPal account with funds in it that I can't use because I can't verify myself and I'm not going to open a bank account just for this one thing and end up having to pay monthly charges for a checking account.  I don't recommend Pay Pal, but it's your choice.

You do know there are bank accounts that don't have fees don't you lol ?

I think Paypal is great! I've got a verified account and it comes in handy especially so if you're worried about online protection or what-not.
