Just a heads up for everyone, I recently had emailed PayPal to see if they could either email me or mail me a monthly statement for my PayPal Buyer Credit account since it wasn't showing on-line. I received an email from them saying I could get that information either by calling a phone number they provided or by requesting by mail from an address they provided. I decided to call them. The next day I received an email saying I could now access that PayPal Buyer Account online by clicking on a link to go to their "secure site" and it then asked for name, social security number, etc. and it did look like it was from PayPal. I forwarded it to PayPals spoof email address and asked them to verify for me that it was indeed from PayPal before I use it and sure enough, they got back to me real quick saying that was a "phishing" email and it was NOT from PayPal. I get scam emails supposedly from PayPal all the time, this was the first one I received saying it was in regard to the PayPal Buyer Credit account after I had just e-mailed PayPal about it. (The PayPal Buyer account has been closed now.) Beware those sneaky on-line scammers!!

Thanks for sharing, internet scams are everywhere nowadays, you were very smart to verify the email address with PayPal.
