Title: Option to stay signed in
Post by: spanner1 on July 26, 2010, 07:40:43 am
A simple "Remember Me" option when logging in. Not really a big deal but it makes life easier.

I had not thought about that but that is an EXCELLENT idea.  I hope someone that has the "powers that be" reads this and applies it to the website.

I think it's a great idea too, however there may be a problem in that because it's recommended that we clear our cookies/cache etc. every day, we will have to enter our user names every time, unless there is a way around it??

If anything it is a good idea that FC has not added that feature. I just think that increases the chances of someone leaving their FC account unprotected on a computer.

I would like the remember me option.
It would be more simple and easy.
I'm a mom of a three month old and it's not easy getting a few seconds to get on her.
Especially breastfeeding!

I used to stayed logged in all the time about a few months ago but now I have to sign in everyday. I agree with the "remember me" option that would be great!!

If your using a secure computer it shouldnt matter if you stay logged in or not. only thing you have to worry about is ppl getting on the computer and into your account that way

I agree with everyone. Yes, it would make life a little easy than having to type in your password every time, but at the same time I think it would be a risk to the members because if someone else comes to use your computer and logs into your fusion cash account, they could change certain settings such as the paypal email address, so when you cash out, the money went to them. Better to sign in and enter the password every time.

All it takes is a free LastPass.com and you can be logged on in seconds.

Well that'd work if your computer was personal, but i guess it is a good choice xD

I have FC, and all my other frequently used sites, under my Norton 'Cards and Logins'. It automatically signs me in every site I have set up on it, so I don't have to worry about it.

oldbuddy mentioned 'LastPass.com' and that's a great one to use also. There are quite a few of these types of programs out there. You just need to make sure it is a secure one. ;) It sure makes life a whole lot easier unless you're someone who only goes to 1 or 2 sites/day and I doubt many on FC are like that.

This is a really good suggestion.  I am able to stay logged in with other sites.  I have often wondered why I can not do it with FC.   It is not a really big deal but it is a bit of a pain to have to sign in every day.   But there may be a reason that FC wants us to have to do that.  However, I hope they consider your suggestion.

It was keeping me signed in or at least my info was there and all I had to do was press sign in.  It was so easy.  But it recently has been making me sign in to my account every time which can be annoying since I log in several times a day.  This would be nice!
