soo my friend go her check today and on the check it said as the date "august 20, 2010" what does that mean. does that mean she cant cash it till then?? does this anyways happen? was there an error?

I haven't heard of that happening before. I don't wait for checks though lol I use paypal. Why are you posting this for someone else though ? In any case I am pretty sure it was an honest mistake.

I seriously think that may be an "Error" ??? Possibly a "TYPO" :P
Have your friend...
Do a search on this forum for a "Topic On This Situation" FROM KOHLER or ADMINISTRATION"
or
Go to the "SUPPORT LINK" @ the bottom of the FC Screens & Submit a "Support Ticket" to Customer Service for assistance

well i posted it for my friend because first she has 2 kids and dont really have down time and second her computer isnt working and she wanted me to help figure that out

Well I understand why you posted for your friend there should be nothing wrong with helping a friend under special situations, but as for whats happening with the check date, I have no idea about that because I use paypal
But I have a theory that maybe the date you are viewing is just the date the check set to be issued, though I'm not certain it might be better to send a support ticket :dontknow: :)

I don't think they can send a ticket in for someone else.

I got my check today (cashed out 6/26), and it has in big numbers 8/20/2010 over the amount, and the bank won't cash it. This is my first cash out and this makes me kind of bummed. I filled out a support ticket, but no response so far. Went to my account page, and it has "printed and mailed on 8/20/2010". Now that's just not possible!!
Anyway, the bank refused it because of the date. Is there a cut off date when we can cash out? Maybe I didn't make it in time. If people got their Paypal and direct deposits, then what's up? :dontknow:

I got my check yesterday (my first one! 74.02!) and it says AUG 20 2010 as well. And of course on the account page it says printed and mailed on 2010-08-20. Not possible, of course.
So someone somewhere made an error. I figure I should be able to cash it August 20th, right?
So I shouldn't worry.
Maybe just about losing it by then... Lol.

Hmmm sounds really interesting to read different issues here in the forum page. I am not sure about this topic maybe only the admin can help that or you should wait August 20 to cash your check. I use paypal though it' easier for me.

Well, like people have posted earlier in this thread, I would submit a support ticket. I use direct deposit, so I have no intention of ever getting paid by check. I just don't trust that way to go...especially since you mention your issue with the check date. What did the bank say? :dontknow: I figured your bank would be able to tell you more information about those typos on checks. ??? I think you should change your payment method to direct deposit or Paypal. I never had a problem. Don't doubt FC...they're the best. I'm sure they will reply to your support ticket as soon as possible. :thumbsup: :peace:

As has been mentioned by several others, those who got the checks and can't cash them should send in a support ticket immediately. My guess is that there was a clerical/administrative error. I read the Admin say he/she has been on vacation, so maybe someone else this month was responsible for imputing/issuing the checks and made a typo.
Whatever the reason is for the issue, hopefully they will re-issue your checks ASAP so you can get your money before August 20th.

Certainly sounds like a SNAFU. Checks written for June cashout requests should have a July 20, 2010 posting date, not August 20, 2010.
Each of you who received a check with a 8/20 date, however, should send in a TT so FC knows how widespread the problem is. It will still be easier for you to just wait out the 30 days and cash the check in August.
I've tried both PAYPAL and direct deposit -- both are easy and dependable. And there is no PAYPAL deposit fee on funds received from FusionCash.

Thanks jordandog, I could wait until August I guess, it's just frustrating. Obviously, there was a problem. I do remember people getting a bit flustered that they even had to wait for their Paypal to post. This is my first one, I just hope it doesn't bump me ahead a couple months from now on. Think I'm going Paypal for the next one.

I requested my first payout this month, supposed to be August 20th receipt, and I did it as a check. I had a reason for it NOT going into PayPal or my checking account. The reason being I use all money I make from any online sites to buy personal/fun things for my pediatric patients in the hospital and I am NOT allowed to use a personal check or personal account of any kind to do this - goes against hospital guidelines. So I cash checks and squirrel the money away in an envelope at home until I want to spend it and that way there is no record of any of MY personal funds going anywhere. I suppose I could just switch to Direct Deposit, I still have time, and then turn around and write a check to take it back out. It's not that big of a hassle to do, but other sites allow me to get checks which insures I put the cash away and don't forget it. Not implying anything against FC, but this gives them an extra 30+ days to draw interest on payout monies when many people on here are really counting on the extra to pay a bill or buy food. I know I have seen many say "FC is NOT an income/real job, so don't look at it that way", but with the economy and unemployment right now this extra cash can be crucial to them.

I have a question I am almost up to $25 less than $1 away so when i cash out I signed up for paypal will it go into my paypal acct or will a check be sent because I also do other surveys and I save up through paypal to buy gifts and so forth for B-D's or christmas.

If you signed up for Paypal, it should go into Paypal. If you cash out by the end of the month of July, you should get your money in your Paypal account by August 20th. This is how it's suppose to work. If you don't cash out until August 1st, then your money will be in your Paypal account September 20th. You won't get a check unless you've chosen that option. If I have to hold onto the check till August, that would be okay. I just hope they get the glitch fixed before next payout. My little checks for this site, and others are for little extras for gifts and stuff. Think I'll go Paypal for next one though.
I feel sorry for those who really needed the money and was anxious for it. I think when Kohler went on vacation, and someone new was manning the ropes. Mistakes happen. I've worked payroll in the past, and it can be a nightmare.
