Cool, but I still need to post more often. I also want to earn that $3/month for posting.

I think if you can average 5 posts a day and spread yourself out thru all categories not just off topic you definitely have a great chance of them granting you your $3 bonus

@matt999999999 - boy lol that's a lot of 9's haha..anyway..the only way to upgrade your position is to post MUCH more....and these posts can be ANYTHING...they don't have to be paragraphs...UNLESS you want to receive the $3/bonus/month for forum...

The content of your posts should be contributory, not just a few words.  But hey it is worth a try...

Just keep posting and your position will upgrade accordingly.  And as the added bonus you can also get the $3/30 posts per month.  My suggestion is to provide helpful information to those that need it.  I usually answer newbies questions and provide them with information that I myself found in the forum.

ONGOING PROMOTION: Forum Participation Bonus - $3 per month!
on: December 23, 2008, 03:08:18 am » Message ID: 33686

I'm happy to announce our first paid-to-post program!  You asked for more ways to make money, and we're here to deliver.  We have added new forum categories and we'd love to see them full of vibrant discussion.  To that end, we're offering a bonus of $3 each month you make 30 or more contributory posts in the forum. Here are the details:

- You must make the posts during a calendar month as measured by FusionCash's official time (located in the top right of each page).
- Bonuses will be credited at the end of following month; please allow UP TO 65 days for crediting.
- A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.  Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you wont qualify.
- You must submit the forum bonus request form to receive credit.  You can request your bonus for the current month and for the prior month only.

The promotion is still going on, even though the thread is locked.

Questions & Answers:
Q:  Do I earn $6 for 60 posts, $9 for 90 posts, etc?
A:  No.  You earn $3 if you make AT LEAST 30 contributory posts in a calendar month.  If you exceed 30, there are no additional bonuses.

Q:  Does this bonus count toward the $15 minimum cashout amount?
A:  This bonus counts towards the $25 cashout minimum, but since it's a bonus, it does not count towards the $15 in offers completed cashout minimum.  It's just like a referral bonus, or any other bonus.

Q:  How can I check on the status of my bonus request?
A:  Visit the Forum Bonus Request page and scroll down to the "History".  You can see your past requests, their status, and the estimated time until it is credited (if its a pending request).

It's easy to get your 30 posts in per month, especially if you read about new topics and help others with questions.

I thought I had this whole position thing figured out....but my amount of posts that I have had hasn't changed in days.  And my posts have been more than just a couple words.  Hmmm??

Nothin wrong with being a newb ... gotta start somewhere on the food chain right, lol :P

On a side note interesting your posts have not updated in days... I did notice that that my posts count is on a delay as well but don't think its more than a few hours and it updates?

Not to worry, it will change! When I was new here it seemed like FOREVER - but just like everything else in life, the more you pay attention the slower it seems.  Now that I don't hardly look at my status, when I do - I am surprised

That does seem strange. I never really keep a close watch on it. Maybe something is broken.  :dontknow:

I think I read the other day that the posts in promotions don't count, maybe that's the problem.

As long as you check the forum daily and write something you shouldn't have a problem.  Remember it needs to help others, contribute, etc.  Don't post all 1 word answers.  I hadn't been on FC for a few months and came back in the middle of August and had no problem getting the 30 in a month.  Another way to look at it is to post once a day.  I think I am close to 20 already for the month of Sept.  I usually try to find post I can help someone with or start a post to get people thinking.  It is always good to have more than 30 post a month, this helps in case Admin has questions.  There are people who just post 30 times and then turn in 3 and don't get their bonus.  It sounds like you won't have a problem.  Keep asking questions and you will get someone to help you.
