Title: Stay at Home Moms

So, how many kids do you have and how much coffee do you drink??

I don't have kids. I stay at home because my husband is a Marine. We can afford to not have me work, and I enjoy taking care of the house and being home to cook him lunch and supper. (I guess I'm old fashioned like that.) I just figure that, as much as he's doing and done for me and our country, I can afford to do something nice for him! We use my FC checks to do fun stuff: shopping, going out to eat, dates, etc..

P.S. I drink A LOT of coffee just for fun! I'm a Starbucks addict! We also have a great internet/coffee house here in town!

I have my mother living with me for a while, anyway she is leaving in October, and then is when my nightmare will start hahaha.... I love my babies, but they are a lot of work, but they grow up so fast that make me want to have more babies. I know your husband is in the marines, my is in the AF. Where are you station at?

Yes, he's a Marine. We're in N.C. for the moment, but you never know when it'll change. This might sound weird, bu I'm thankful he injured his leg in Afghanistan; he can't deploy again! We're not having kids until he's done with the Corps. I want to have my family around when we have kids. I can TOTALLY understand you asking your mom for help. Mine would flip out if she wasn't a part of my kid's birth. Still, with two babies!!! I applaud you. I know a lot of people who wouldn't be able to do that on a daily basis. Heck, I know a lot of people that can't even take care of the ONE kid they have! I'm glad you get to be at home watching your kiddos grow up! Do you have boys, girls, or one of each?

aWSOME!! I'm station at SC almost close, my husband has many years in the AF so after this he is retiring, he is happy about it but I think He is gonna miss his military life. How old are you if you don't mind to ask....I'm 32, Maybe you are very young to have babies now, but let me tell you babies are wonderful and change your life in a good way. Sorry to hear that your husband got hurt in afghanistan, and I really undertand how you feel... don't want him to deploy again... I think I would be so sad if my husband have to deploy and leave me with my babies, I know been a military wife something you have to give up.
If you need a friend you can email me or maybe chat in hotmail if you have an account. My email is frutilla01@hotmail.com. I know staying at home is sometimes boring, but let me tell you is never boring when you have twins hahahah.... well sometime they sleep in the same time and then I have a free time to do FC or cook dinner, nice talking to you

Yeah, S.C. is only about 4-5 hours from us. Not too bad. I'm 27. Most of my friends have kids, but we just want to get our own house first and all that. I don't imagine you have much time to yourself. You definitely need some "me" time!  ;D I added you as a buddy on here. I'm on FC a ton during the day!

Hi again missijl~
I am a stay-at-home mom! I have a 21-month old baby boy who in my opinion, is the most beautiful baby boy ever!...LOL  ;D    I tell him that everyday. I love Starbucks coffee too, I usually buy the 4-pack lite version that is in the grocery store and I put them in the fridge to drink @ breakfast, not everyday though. I don't drink coke, I'm more of a Mountain Dew girl drinker. My mom loves Cherry Coke Zero though!  ;)   I feel grateful that I am able to stay at home to take care of my baby boy because I would hate to have to leave him in Daycare all day.  :binkybaby:   I can't even hardly go 1 hour without him.   :BangHead:   The other day, I had to go do an errand by myself and by the time I was gone the 1st hour, by heart started to ache... :'(   :crybaby2:   It is true, "Home is where the  is". I work online and do various jobs, just starting to get good money rolling in...so that's good. I don't know much about the Marines, except when I was in high school it seemed like I always had a crush on a guy that was going to go to the Marines   8)  ...LOL....Well, anyways, I am also like you too in the sense that I will make lunch and dinner for my (soon to be ) husband. Sometimes I will drive to his workplace and spend lunch with him. I love being at home and clean the house and wash dishes and do the finances, it helps me feel independent I guess. Well, I'll sign off now, have work to do. Nice chatting with ya today. Have a Terrific Day!   :peace:

Hello, hello!  I'm sure I will be the same way about not wanting to leave my kids. When we get back home (Nebraska), I'm going to open up my own retail store. (I just have an online store right now. It'd blow your mind if you knew what ELSE I was working on online!) I want to get the retail store up-and-running so I can continue to stay at home. (Hopefully one of my trustworthy friends will manage it for me!) Anyway, about the Marines... there's too much to know about them to list here! They have the reputation of being the craziest out of the armed services, but it's just like any other group of people--you have your good ones and you have your bad ones.  ;D

Thanks Ladies!
I just had my second daughter in April. They are 2 yrs and 9 days apart and they keep me busy ALL day. Funny that I asked this question on the same day they both didn't take a nap!!

Guess I drink at lease 3 cups a day of coffee...and some diet pepsi on top of that. Can't imagine having twins or more kids at this point.

Anyone have any suggestions on how many is the perfect number of kids to have??

I have no kids but I drink a lot of coffee each day for addiction and for fun! Coffee is supposed to be good for women based on scientific research. and kids are good for women become more gentle and patient.

I AM A SINGLE MOTHER OF SIX. I DON'T DRINK COFFEE BUT I DO DRINK PEPSI AND COKE. I ALSO SMOKE. MY OLDEST IS 11 AND MY YOUNGEST IS 1. I AM CONSTANTLY RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE PICKING UP AFTER CHILDREN BUT THEY KEEP ME LAUGHING. IT IS HARD DEALING WITH ALL OF THESE DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES. I AM HAPPY THOUGH THAT SCHOOL IS OPEN AND I HAVE FIVE OUT OF MY SIX IN SCHOOL ALL DAY. YEA SCHOOL.
