Title: What are your favorite places to go on vacation?

Post by: hwilliams591 on August 26, 2010, 11:26:34 am: Never been on a vacation to unwind yet. I do like Vegas for me and the wife and Disneyland for the kids. Both are fun but are not that relaxing to unwind.

That would be my dad's dream vacation. I do enjoy fishing also, though. Being on the water is always relaxing--unless you get seasick easily.

I enjoy going to the beach here (Atlantic Beach, N.C.). I pick up sea shells every once in awhile. It's really nice at around 5 p.m.--not so many people and not as hot outside.

I like to go to Panama City Beach, Fla. I went there last year and had a good time. Only trouble there, it rained every day. But the sun came out everyday and we enjoyed it.

There's always something to do whether it's going for a carriage ride in Central Park or visiting The Met or shop til you drop. It's wonderful. My second one is the Smokey Mountains. I love the way the mist rolls in every morning outside the log cabin in the mountains, everything is so tranquil.
