In two days I will be 64 not a milestone as I have an Uncle turning 90 now that is a huge milestone.
What does everyone do for your birthday at this age is it a cause for celebration???
Do you celebrate or is it just another day??
Well any feedback will be appreciated.

lol to me it is just another day though i still enjoy having cake and ice cream lol

Happy birthday to you in advance, franlee! ;) As for myself, it's just another day. Age is just a number. I am not afraid to grow old at all. :)

I think birthday's are important to the person who has one as well as the person acknowledging the birthday.

I love when it's my birthday. I wish I could have birthday parties. This year would've been my sweet 16 party, but I don't get to have one. My parents don't want me to have one. Ugh.
Last year, almost all of my classes sang Happy Birthday to be and it totally made my day. But I really wish I could have a part this year.

As long as it's not mine!!! I do love the gifts and cake.

Our family has a big blowout every time I roll over another decade with a barbecue and live music and people coming from all over the country. It takes another 10 years for the neighbors to stop talking about it. We are already planning for 2018 when I have my 80th.

Birthdays make me depressed because most my birthdays are boring and there's so much I want to do with my life yet haven't been able to due to circumstance beyond my control and even though I dont look my age having another birthday just reminds me of all the good years that are now past, and have been sort of wasted for me.
Though part of me of course is grateful to have lived this long and still have a few good years left to accomplish things in my life and enjoy life, but birthdays have always been bitter sweet for me. :peace:

i'm only 26.. and its already just another day. Maybe I'm too busy and not very family oriented... but I really don't see it as a big deal.

They are just another day for me but when my birthday comes, I still like getting cake.

I think birthdays are silly! Little kids from 1 to 6 should have birthday celebrations not
grown ups.
-
Birthdays are fun to celebrate, but not to get older. :( I love to celebrate my sons birthdays.

We shouldn't dwell on the years that have gone by,we should look forward to the coming years and do what we can to make them better.

Love the pic, oldbuddy! 10-yr party sounds great! I had a surprise party for my hubby when he turned 60 and he was TOTALLY in shock! He did not have a clue and it was a whole lotta fun!
-
After 25 I stopped enjoying my birthday :( It would be just another day for me, but my mother insists on taking me to dinner every year.

Everyone deserves to celebrate on their birthdays. It is a very important day. But as we get older they do not seem to matter as much anymore. But they should!
