Title: How do you feel about Birthdays????
Post by: franlee46 on August 27, 2010, 03:20:03 pm: In two days I will be 64 not a milestone as I have an Uncle turning 90 now that is a huge milestone.

What does everyone do for your birthday at this age is it a cause for celebration???
Do you celebrate or is it just another day??

Well any feedback will be appreciated.

Last year, almost all of my classes sang Happy Birthday to be and it totally made my day. But I really wish I could have a part this year.

It takes another 10 years for the neighbors to stop talking about it. We are already planning for 2018 when I have my 80th.

Post by: apples45 on August 27, 2010, 10:59:45 pm: Birthdays make me depressed because most my birthdays are boring and there's so much I want to do with my life yet haven't been able to due to circumstance beyond my control and even though I dont look my age having another birthday just reminds me of all the good years that are now past, and have been sort of wasted for me.

Though part of me of course is grateful to have lived this long and still have a few good years left to accomplish things in my life and enjoy life, but birthdays have always been bitter sweet for me. :peace:

Well I am with you oldbuddy I am planning a birthday brunch with all the trimmings so it should be alot of fun Love your picture I will have to post one after tomorrow all should be coming Cake and ice cream will be later at the pool

i like to decorate and enjoy the b'day functions........
i prepare the cakes abd many sweets to the b'day party in my home.
