Enough is enough...this is only going to make people mad...quit talking bad about people, quit putting people down, if you having nothing nice or appropriate to say then say nothing...if you want to debate and discuss sensitive topics then do it professionally! This is a sign of being intelligent.
It is getting out of hand...it is like you single someone out on purpose and you all jump them...I have tried so hard to get something done about this. I feel it is unacceptable and what worries me is that you guys do it outside the internet as well.
I wish I could make everyone nice but that is impossible. I just want this stuff to be cleaned up.
I guess you can't have a debate or discussion until you can find someone on your level...
I wish you people would knock it off already! You are starting a war...cut it out...

marieelissa, we at FC don't encourage personal attacks. However, with a mostly unmoderated forum, you simply have to have a thick skin. I would even say that FC is one of the nicer forums on the internet -- there are plenty that are more hostile to newcomers and more clique-y.
There's a simple rule for dealing with unwanted attention in online communities: don't feed the trolls. If you stopped reacting to every post, and making "call-out" threads like this, the abuse would stop. It's as simple as avoiding threads which are likely to devolve into personal attacks. By now, I am sure you can spot them easily. So just click somewhere else! It's what I and plenty of other FC members do. You have the freedom to choose which, if any, conversations you participate in.
Lastly, I don't think you need to worry about people acting the same way in real life. On here, you have just a username, and that makes people act differently. If the forum used your real full name instead of a username, I am sure that it would be a different place.
