I get so tired trying to find something good to watch on TV each night. You pay to have directv or what every and you get 200 or more channel to choice from and what do you get nothing. I quess that's why I'm on the pc so much plus I find other things to do but once in awhile I would love to watch a good movie or show. I know its time for the new fall shows to start. I guess everyone else has the same problems to fine something on tv. Oh well I'll just keep looking.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy is on this weekend and even though I have the DVDs I am still watching it lol my life is so boring hehe

For most of the day, I will keep my television on Discovery Channel or Travel Channel for this reason. All of the shows on these two channels are decent. Some may not like them but they are still OK shows. I like watching cartoons too except the majority of them are stupid.

For some reason I thought this was about clothes.......probably cus I'm a guy. ;)
I was saying the same thing the other night.
200 channels and nothing interesting to watch.
Good thing I have a good sized dvd collection.

Weekends are the worst! It's the same movies over and over. And That 70's Show, Two and a Half Men, and Everybody Loves Raymond reruns.

there's always the option of watching TV online. some of you may even be able to hook your computers into your TV's--my TV is too old. hulu.com is great for watching your favorite series, and there are tons of ways to watch networks all over the world without paying for the expensive cable channels. I do it all the time when I am sick for long periods.

I think it also depends what you like to watch. My wife and I are into mystery/drama/crime stuff and the Lifetime Movie Network is the place to be for that. We just set the movies we want to record for two weeks and we are all set. Evey night a different movie, some of which we have seen as reruns since they are that good.

It's a shame that if you want good shows, you have to pay extra for cable. I believe that with the Internet shows, cable will die a slow death. I work on the Internet all day and get sick of computers, so I set my DVR, some from the high-number channels but a lot from Bravo.

I have to agree. I don't have 200 channels but I have around 80 and usually there is nothing on to watch. But then again the shows that are on TV now are not worth your time to watch. I usually end up watching sports or shows from 20-30 years ago. You know the shows you could watch with your children in the room.
