I wasn't into to books at all! But I didn't date, just hung out with my friends. My mom and dad never had to bug me about homework either.
-
Neither. I wasn't into books, I did not date, and didn't hang out with friends. I showed up for school but when it was time to leave, that was what I did.
-
I did not. I was quiet and not popular at all. No one ever asked me out. I was always a good student and got good grades but I didn't have much fun in HS at all I hated it. Thank God for college.
-
I didn't do a lick of work at school but i sorta dated. all the perks of dating without actually dating. lol.
-
yeah i was somewhat in the books. but ran after the ladies a little too much. heeheee
-
Yes i did but it was girls from my hood. which when i was drafted into the army in 1969 i married the girl i dated in hig school.
-
I dated in high school. My nose was in my books by choice. the state workers wanted me to have lots of friends even thou I wasnt good at making them towards the end of my 12th grade year I was hanging out with friends sometimes i wish I could have had those friends sooner.
-
Lol! Sure I dated when my mom finally decided to let go of the leash she had on me. Geez! Mothers can be so overprotective of their daughters. I was 16 when she first let me have a boyfriend. The catch is I couldn't leave the house to go out on an actual date with him. My mom's rule was that we had to see each other at my house. That sucked and we broke up pretty quick because of it. If we ever went out it would be with her and it was never anything fun. I'm so glad she didn't pick the man I married today. I chose him myself and we make a very good match.
-
I wasn't really into books but I got good grades. I also hung out alot after school and I dated. Had my first serious relationship in high school, we dated for 2 years and were engaged. It didn't work out in the long run but we were definitely high school sweethearts <3 ;D
-
Yes....I started seeing a guy in the 11th grade n got married about 8yrs later.
-
yes i dated as long as i kept my grades up
-
I never ever studied, but still got mostly As and Bs and got into the college that was my first choice.
I started dating my boyfriend my Junior year of high school. :] And I dated another guy before that. He was an *bleep*.
-
No. Got good grades, but I was more of a crammer than a studier, but the occasion never came up. My friends are mostly girls, but I just didn't find a guy that I was all that interested in anyway. :dontknow:
-
Nope...
-
I was an ok student...good enough to get into college but far from excellent. I met my husband in high school, so yes I dated LOL.
-
I currently am
-
i was a st8 'A' student but i did have boyfriends in high school
-
My teenage years were the worst years of my life. I was overweight, with pimples, and very thick glasses.. I was bullied so bad, that I left our high school, and went to a community high, where kids like me felt welcome.Dating was the LAST thing on my mind.
-
Nope i didnt date in my high school ..i dated other women in different high schools locally around the city
-
i got all A's in high school and also did my fair share of dating an partying. its was great...
-
I was a serial monogamist in school..never had casual dates just the full-on boyfriend. Never really had "dates" until I reached my 20s and even those were few and far between lol. I just enjoy being committed.
-
only a little
-
i hung alot.. i had bfs. i didnt have one boy after another though. i had 3 total in high school.. that coz i tried to be with them as long as i could. i was with off and on with for those 4 yrs. i studied but only when i thought i had to.
-
I did. Not a good thing to do when looked back. I should have spent more time on reading than dating.
-
Dated someone my senior year of high school. I don't think I'd recommend relationships in high school, just have fun and enjoy everyone's company and live it to the fullest without being held back to do anything.
-
Yes I dated in High School. I am married to my high school sweetheart and still happily married after 34 years of marriage.
I studied and got good grades and played on the basketball team.
If I could go back, I would be more involved in music and try the drama department too. It is easier to try out for extra activities like that in school than once you are out.
-
My parents were very strict and they didn't let me date because they said that dating lead to having babies. That was also back in the late seventies. I had to be into my school work because I went to a catholic school.
-
I was straight A student, but I never really studied or did homework... I basically picked things up when listening in class, so studying / homework was "boring" and "a waste of time". I never really dated until college, although there was a group of us -- a mix of both genders -- that tended to hang out together.
-
No didn't date much, but I was going out with a nice guy (30 years ago) and I found out a couple of months ago (when he found me after a class reunion and I asked him why he had stopped calling) that he stopped dating me because one of my "friends" told him that I only went out with him on a dare. This was 30 years ago and it still pisses me off... he was really nice and I missed knowing him better because of a "friend"?
-
I didn't date but a couple of times in high school. When I got to college I went wild and dated everyone! :angel12:
-
dating in high school.
-
yes, I was 16 when I had my fist date.
-
I was into my books, had lots of guy friends, but actually liked the learning part of school, I know what a nerd. :)
-
i had couple of dates and lots of blind dates with some friends hooking me up.
i hate blind dates you just dont know what to expect
-
Both, and my friends and girlfriend were similar.
Life is balance.
-
Yeppers!
-
a little bit. not much
-
I'm in high school right now. I'm not allowed to date until I graduate...from college. I don't have any interest in dating anyway. I'm very into the books. My parents never tell me to study. They've actually told me to stop studying because I've studied too much.
-
Sure did loved every minute of it
-
No I didn't date... just hung out with friends. Had a crushes an a couple of guys, but I was kind of shy too. I was into the books and got good grades. After high school was different... 8)
-
i was totally into school, got straight As right up to junior year, and i played volleyball and softball every year from 6th grade to 11th grade. i started dating when i was 16 (middle of 10th grade) and by middle of junior year i had quit sports and my grades dropped because i became way too focused on my boyfriend, who had graduated the year before. at the beginning of second semester i got suspended for fighting (another side effect of being too focused on my bf) and ended up home-schooled. the bright side of that is i finshed my required credits for 11th and 12th grade in just 6 weeks so by march i was a high school graduate. the down side of that was that my mother had forbade me to see my boyfriend so i just moved out and moved in with him. that only lasted a few weeks, but one bad decision was made in that short period of time, and 9 months later (right after i turned 18) my son was born.
-
Didn't date until last half of my senior year (last four months anyway)...was totally worth it...ended up going to two different proms....probably one of the best times of my life :)
-
Nope. I wasn’t too interested in dating back in my high school days. I hung out with a good crowd. We’re not the type to mess around in relationships nor did we get into trouble with the dean. We just focused on our education. Yes... we’re a bunch of nerds. ;D
-
yup. i met the love of my life in high school. we dated for almost 2 years and broke up. guess he didn't feel the same way. :bs:
-
I was a good student and I dated. My parents never had to tell me to do my homework as it was always completed before I went out.
-
Were you into your books or hung out alot? Did Mom or Dad remind you to stay in the books.
NO I DID NOT DATE WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL MY PARENTS WERE VERY STRICK AND OLD FASHION!!
-
