Good one, Amy. That's one of my top 10 movies, have seen it too many times to count, and there are many who ought to be forced to watch it until they get it!

"Well, Tilly, when the hell we gonna get some dinner?"

I love it...I cry every time I watch it.  Ranks right up there with Harold and Maude and the original Wuthering Heights with Merle Oberon and Sir Lawrence Olivier.

I'll admit it, I literally sob. With the other 2 you listed, we could definitely do a movie night (or month) together - you are on my wavelength now, so many great oldies out there! Tons of popcorn and Puffs Plus needed of course.... 8)

Now I feel like blowing off work and watchin flicks instead *sigh* - gotta run, see you all tomorrow.

Well I took a lady to a dirt track race once and every thing went fine so I asked her if she would like to go to a Nascar event, and thats when she mentioned she was a Tony Stewart fan.

So no......it didn't last.

Oh, I have a collection.  I love the old ones.  Hard to pick my very favorite.  And I like Casablanca, but not for the love story...the love story kinda makes me queasy...its all about the politics for me!  And I believe wholeheartedly that Some Like it Hot is the funniest movie ever made.  We could totally fill a forum with our favorite classics, I think!  LOL

I think we're kindred, Jordandog...we both like Repo! and classic movies.

Plus, my daughter has quite the classic Disney collection.  Her favorite of the moment is Pinocchio, but she wants to be Aurora for Halloween.  I think she's got a good start, haha.

I've never thought about dating in terms of race, only whether or not I enjoyed the person's company.

Some people do think it should not be an issue but believe it or not I have friend who their parents dont believe in mix culture relationship. They try hard to break them up. I believe everyone is equal no matter culture, color, gemder etc.

Sure it can. New cultures are cool! Just be respectful of other peoples' customs and you can do quite well.

That's a sad situation indeed.

EVERYONE IS HUMAN! point blank the only reason people look different is because they come from different parts of the planet. racism is ignorant and people need to stop continuing the weak, foolish cycles that put humanity where it is in the first place. i am an earthling, that's my race. who gives a *bleep* what color my skin is or what my eyes or hair looks like. you should be more concerned with whether or not i am a good person overall.
