I think it was a biased individual painting and not a universal opinion of who is influential. After all, I never heard of half those people and there were a large number of oriental people on there it seemed. But it was a cool painting. I wish I could paint, I would make my own lol.

This picture has actually changed alot over the last year. They keep adding more to it and its always cool to see what they add next. Like Osama bin laden wasn't on there the last time i seen it. and the 72 virgins... and I liked how you can click on the people and learn a little more about them. although it uses wikipedia ;)
