I think that D&D has had a serious lack of good thought provoking topics lately.  I have had no desire to post in here lately because lately it seems to be all personal attacks, legalize marijuana, and newbies asking out of place topics.  So, I now suggest that we use this topic here to consider what kind of good, thought provoking, debates and discussions we can have as a forum, so we can get D&D back to the sub-forum I became addicted to in the first place...one where I could discuss, debate, and expand my knowledge base. 

Any suggestions?

I'd say we need more topics of relevance. So I'm going to make one right now about customer service at places.

 ;D If you think the trolling here is bad, you should see the world of warcraft forums.  Especially since the troll is a race in the game.

But seriously, I haven't been in the DnD forum in over 2 weeks; the interesting topics just seemed to fizzle out or degenerate into name-calling.  I enjoy reading all sides of the really good debates.
