Hi all,
FYI, if you participate in the forums to get a bonus, don't reply to any inquiries that only take a word or two to answer, because the spiteful admin will
deny your bonus request. I participated for the whole month of October, replying appropriately to 30 posts, but not writing a long winded explanation
of my feelings. This is what I got from them:
Hello,
Your forum bonus was denied due to insufficient content in your posts. Most were very short. Please feel free to try again next month, but be sure to give your posts some thought and contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way.
My question is this: How can admin know the amount of thought I gave to each of my posts? Perhaps if admin would give us a number of required words to meet their requirements...and what they consider sufficient content.... I think admin sucks. thanks for nothing admin.
-
Oh wow, that's unfortunate for you. My advice is that you pick three of your best posts and then hopefully you'll get the 3 dollars the next time. I'm sorry that happened to you.
-
I'm sorry that this happened to you too, however it does specifically state that posts must be contributory posts....
"- A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines. It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content. Basically, if you post just to meet the 30 post requirement, you wont qualify."
I haven't been with FC very long, but I try to focus my posts on the threads that deal specifically with things like offers, surveys, promos, etc., by asking questions when I don't know something or offering help to newbies. In other topics, like in "debate & discuss", if you're carrying on a good conversation on a topic, those posts should count.

Again, Sorry This Happened :P But, As You Were Advised By Administration On Another Thread...

Sorry you feel that way. I counted 10 posts of yours during September that were 7 words or less. There is no official minimum length, but in my opinion, such short posts are simply not indicative of a substantial amount of thought or effort. The announcement thread says that if you "just post to get the bonus", you will be denied. Your September submission fit that category. Again, I'm sorry that you feel your posts should have qualified.
Also, you are only hurting yourself by posting gibberish, since your posts get reviewed every month and ";okjp;oiho8ugo8ygoyg ':lk]p" doesn't really contribute to any discussion.

well that's why i always try to do a little more than just the 30 posts just in case some of them aren't sufficient. better luck next month.

Hi ajann1983,
I gave him this same suggestion on the thread I mentioned/quoted above ;)
By doing so, you're covered either way and this unfortunate outcome is avoided :sad1:

There are other reasons why a post might not be included in meaningful post count for the month and it isn't always obvious at the time you do the post. Someone said that the 2nd posting on a given thread (in a given month?) will not count for that month. In addition, I'm not certain that submissions for promotions and contests will count.
I always double check my count by going to the link at the top of this/every forum page ("paid to post") and then link to the "forum bonus request form". That page gives you a count of your qualified posts to date. When it gets to 30, you wll be okay. Otherwise, keep posting.
At the bottom of that page will be a listing of your approved forum posting submissions, and how many days until the last request will be credited. Not sure what it says when a monthly request is denied, but you'll see it there.
Live and learn. I have yet to figure out how to post a screen shot of my proof of payment for the $1.00 promotion fee -- even with the instructions in front of me. Can't be that difficult since so many are doing it! :peace:

I always try to posts as many comments as i can. Sometimes I respond to others concerns or I have questions of my own. I say things that's related to the subjects or maybe politics. I'm a little frustrated because I haen't received any offers to cash out. I hoped too soon. I've been trying since the beginning of September. I can't wait.

We can't expect to make a fortune over night. That's wishful thinking. We can only discuss things relatin to certain topic or try to give some sound advice. Patience is a virtue!

I agree use your 3 best posts and do more than 30, that is the bare minimum so more is always better, shot for 3 posts a day

This post will count towards my 30 posts. It counts because I put thought into it. I did not post it just to earn the $3.

I am not sure what you mean by I haven't received any offers to cash out. The offers are under the offers tab as well as there is a special offers tab in the free offers section. You have to reach $25 each time you want to cash out and $15 of that must be in offers you did on the site. There are plenty of free offers to do and quite a few that are available to do every day under the daily tab.

if they gave us a number of words required there would still be people just posting just that amount of words to get credit. they say it has to be sufficient content because the purpose of the forum is for us to communicate, not just to post yes and no answers so that we will get paid. i have been with fusioncash for almost a year and a half and have never been denied my forum bonus
-
oh my gosh i know! the same thing happened to me! it is so ridiculous that i answer people's questions in a sentence or two, and i get denied. this is such a pain.
-
just make sure that you pick your most substantial posts as the ones you submit. i have already done 13 posts today, 12 of which i do not think would be denied if i submitted them.
-
@dmalsbury:
I don't want to make you angrier than you already are, but I looked back through your posts and can honestly see why you did NOT get the bonus. Most were very short, like 1 sentence, and I didn't see anything I would consider contributory or helpful, sorry. The longest ones are this months that you have written to blast admin. It's probably not a good idea to call admin narcs and tell them to kiss your :bootyshake: either, no matter how upset you are. They own and run the site, so it's their call and not our's. They could just decide to ban you altogether and then you wouldn't need to worry about it, period....
@swogden:
Someone said that the 2nd posting on a given thread (in a given month?) will not count for that month.
No, that is definitely NOT true. There are many threads in the D&D section that some of us stick with for many, many pages if the topic is a hot one, so that has nothing to do with it.
-
Thanks for letting us know. I'm sure it will help alot of members avoid the same fate. I missed out once because the site was down near the end of a month and I didn't have enough good posts to qualify. Although it is not perfect the rules are pretty clear. I think sometimes a one or two word witty reply can be just as valid as a couple of paragraphs, but if half your posts are like that it is probably going to raise a red flag.
-
Yeah, it happens. Unfortunately if you're on this board long enough, the same topics get repeated time and time again.
It's hard to come up with longer winded answers for the same questions. It's not like we're all politicians.

Sorry to hear that happened to you, but I must say that I do not agree with you. Like you said you answered 1 or 2 words to your your posts. In the terms it clearly states that you must reply with contributory, humorous, etc. I usually reply to more than just 30 posts per month incase some of my posts were just one or two words. And I usually reply to anwers asked about FC for the newbies and things like.

I just looked through them myself and have to agree with you, jordandog. Posts of "hi walks" and "1358" definitely don't fall under contributory or ones which really have much thought to them.
I also agree that venting all over the forum and bashing the admins isn't very smart. I think this site is very generous with bonuses and offerings. In return, what they ask for them I don't think is very unreasonable at all and is very fair.
-
I am sorry to hear about being denied for the forum bonus. Admin has his criteria and we should follow. And someone is right this site is generous to offer bonuses so it could helps our earnings. Me my second forum bonus was approved.Better luck next time.

Yes, I do the same thing myself. I shoot for at least 60 just in case, although I know I'll only get the $3. But that's okay with me. I like posting anyway. My blog is proof. ;D

What's the criteria for a "substantial" post?
If it's a specific number of words then I wouldn't know how the admin would determine if it is "substantial."
For instance, you may type a long paragraph but it doesn't necessairly one is saying much, or is "substantial" on the context of the a particular situation. Or you can type 1 or two words, or perhaps not even a word at all, and it can mean a lot or could be "substantial," depending on the context of the circumstance.
How one admin could determine whether each post of each member in FC is subsantial would really depend on FC's definitoin of "substantial" post.

  You are a hero member, Correct?? AND you have not figured out this forum posting?? Something is wrong with this picture. It seems to me that you should have figured it out before now. Am I missing someting here??

i know what you mean...it's like every morning i look at the forum topics and its like "what offers approved, what's your favorite... or what do you like about FC." it gets boring
-
wow that is so bad that it was denied
-
Read the rules & regulations. It explains that it doesn't accept short or BS posts. Usually, I do more than 3o posts each month b/c some times I just give yes or no posts so that's out. I check my 30 posts b/c some are rejected marked w/a big X which tells that it wasn't legit & just pick the 3 acceptable ones. Since, I do those steps I've never been rejected on my bonuses each month. (Knock on Wood)

Hi, I'm just another one that uses the forum, did you listen to "Good Buddy", he was very defininite on the instructions about brief answers.
"Yeah me too!" as an answer would not be admissable!
