I use to but it's to crazy for me anymore. I might try online shopping this year.
-
I haven't in a while. But I think this year I'm going to just go for it! If I can wake my happy butt up! lol!! ;) ;D
-
I love shopping on Black Friday. Yes it is crowded but I get a lot of great deals so it is well worth it.
-
No i dont shop online anymore but I could be first in line at k-mart this year if I really wanted too. My shift will be getting over as the store is opening up.
-
I love Goin Black Friday Shopping! its kinda a tradtion for my mom and i!
-
Oh yeah I am looking forward to black friday. My husband and the kids went last year. We plan to do it again. I had a ball with the sales. There were so many.
-
I'm looking forward to shopping on Black Friday since I work at Fred Meyer. So, I hope I will be scheduled to work that day to get some good deals before everyone else. It will be my 1st time to shop on Black Friday as well. I may even try to go shopping online too :)

I have in the past at certain times....last year made a midnight run, think I'm going to pass this year, a bit too crazy!

I work at Wal-mart so I will have to work black friday, is always busy. I have to go in at 4:30 am. Will try to buy what I can when I get off work if there is anything still there.

I think we're going to go for it this year. Believe it or not, my hubby spent more last year than I did! It's ok, though--he got a pretty good deal on an HDTV.
-
No way.... The crowds are crazy and the deals really aren't that great that I want to get up that early and go shopping. I try to buy early but this year I haven't done such a great job. I have bought a few things for my husband but that is about it so far.

I did it one year with my cousin who has to girls, at the time she really wanted only one item. Well we will never do that again. It was fun only cause we were together but it was insane. We both vowed NEVER AGAIN!! Good thing we had our coffee first.
-
I had not done it until last year, when my $$ situation started getting bad, I had certainamount of money to spend on my girls and black friday was my solution. I tell you a love it, mom and me went at about 6:30 a.m. to the mall, cam out of there at 2:00 pm and spend all my money, but tons of stuff and even had extra $$ to by a new bed comforter for my daughter along with bathroom rugs and towels that were not on my list.
Sadly this year my $$ is even worse so I don't think I can use Black Friday for anything.

I do... Usually my sister has to work on Black Friday, so our family doesn't get together to celebrate till Sat or Sun, so I've got Thurs and Fri to do my shopping. Usually I'll wait in line at Staples in the early morning (people camp out in line for Best Buy on Thurs, and when I get to Staples Fri morning, the line is already wrapping around the building! Crazy!) and then hit some of the other stores around the area, working my way to the mall for the afternoon. But I try to do my homework on Thurs to plan the best way to move around the city. Last year, Staples opened first, so I was able to get the external hard-drive I was gunning for. Then I raced across town and got to Kohls just as it opened where I picked up one of the last film-to-digital-pics converters. Then back up towards Staples again, this time at ShopKo (which hadn't opened yet) and was able to pick up an submersion mixer along with some other kitchen gadgets. Finally I hit the other stores (Best Buy, Minards, Walmart, and the mall shops) which had been opened for a few hours now (so all the door-busters were gone) but I was still able to pick up some other smaller items that I knew wouldn't get sold-out.

So, I'm curious to know if its better to shop online or wait in line on Black Friday? This year will be my 1st time to shop on Black Friday. I'm just mostly interested in getting a LG 42" TV. Of course, I may get other things if its a good deal :)
-
Never have Never will! I can't stand being surrounded by so many people pushing and shoving to get a good deal. Personally I like the online Black Friday shopping. You get the same deals without the hassle and you can get extra coupons. I've always been a fan of gottadeal.com It has coupons to all kinds of stores and it shows some extra deals for Black Friday!
-
sure. all are best deal.

2 years ago, I shopped on black friday, first time ever, and hated it.. had to get up wayyyyy to early, then stand in lines for ever. You really have to know ahead of time what you want to buy.. I am not in favor of doing it again.
-
I have learned over that last 4 years that you have to have a plan and stick with it, in order to survivie the Black Friday crowds. Somethings are worth the discount!!!
-
I am going to try to go shopping on black Friday this year! just wanna be done shopping!
-
I have never shop on Black Friday. You have to get up too early to stand in a crowd.
-
I have never shopped on Black Friday before as it is overall very unappealing to me because:
1) I hate crowds
2) I am not a big fan of shopping
3) I am very much NOT a morning person
But good for all of you brave enough to face the masses!
-
I did last year and thought they had better deals afterwards, I guess depending on what you're buying. This year I'm not even going shopping, only for like 3 items tops because money is so tight.
-
Cant wait!
-
I just wanna get a LG 42" TV and I will shop on Black Friday if I have to. Then again, I can always shop online that day :)
-
I used to but it isn't worth it. It was a nightmare.

I ventured out one year - and that was the first and last year I ever attempted to go near stores on Black Friday. Way too nuts for me. I'm not a big fan of "shopping" - I'm more of an "get in, get out" type, so Black Friday is my worst nightmare. ;D
-
Honestly I have never been shopping on black Friday. I have always had the kids when they were little or I had to work. I would like to try it though just one time. Now that the kids are older and I am not working who knows maybe I will try it :)
-
No.
I don't like shopping on normal occasions, so going when there are enormous crowds and traffic on Black Friday would be a nightmare!
Good luck to those of you who do venture out!!!
-
Last year was the first year for me. I only went to save over 100 on a smoker I wanted it was well worth it. My Wife is going this year. Don't know if I will make it or not. We where in line at Bass Pro 2 hrs before they opened. There 8 people in front of us.

This is the best way to do Black Friday shopping, except "Be there at least 30 min to an hour before opening" should be on the list. I may or may not do it this year; I have to check out BlackFriday.com to preview what ads are up. More than likely, I won't go this year. I always did my shopping with my sister and mother (the better to split up at the same store (or different stores) to pick up what everyone wanted to buy and pay each other back). But I live 500+ miles away now, which'll make it a bit difficult to do.
-
No, I don't care for the crowds. If I do shop, I do my Black Friday shopping online.
-
I don't I do my shopping online, but My wife goes out every year.
She wakes up early and goes and waits in the cold with her mom and aunts. ???
I went one year with them back when I was in High School but now I stay home and watch the Kids and that is ok with me

You know I've never shopped on a black Firday before but I have worked quite a few. I have worked some considering my profession is in the retail field. I still think though I would like to try it and be on the other side of the tables on a black friday. I was planning on trying it out this year and see what it is like.
-
No I do not shop on black Fridays. It is too hectic and crowded for me. Plus I like to do my shopping early as I can. I also do most of my shopping online. I don't even like to shop in the stores that often so I can't imagine me in the stores on black Fridays. I don't think I will ever shop on black Fridays.
-
Wow I've never been shopping on Black Friday. It's total chaos. I can't stand Walmart when it's packed with people on a regular day so you can imagine how hectic black friday is. I'd rather shop on the weekend or a few days before christmas because they usually do have good sales going on during that time too.
-
i went one time and it was absolutely crazy... I got to the store at like 4a.m. and waited in line until 6 when they opened the doors. Ever since then I have had to work on Black friday so I will usually do some shopping online but not in the store
-
No black friday shopping for me too many people and no parking the sells are just as good on line and no fighting over item when you least except it.
Much safer to shop at home.
-
Absolutely not. Last year when those doors opened for the Black Friday sales, an employee lost his life. I know we've come on some hard times lately, but I'd rather pay a higher price from the luxury of my home and not have to worry about someone tackling me down for a good deal.
