Title: Horse topics, tips on training, riding, ownership, for the love of the animal

 ;D  I am a horse owner of 3, have been riding since I was 9. Absolutely love equines.
 I am a western rider, trails mostly.  I am lucky enough to have a small farm where I  keep my equine friends.
 Feel free to post on any equine info.. I am always willing to learn more..

  I can't stand animal cruelty. and the slaughter of my equine friends,   awareness , kindness, and humane treatment is what we all strive for.

Good to know there's another horse person out there! I volunteer at a hooved-animal rescue 'shelter' and have been doing so since 7th grade. I occasionally go out riding with the owners. Fun stuff. I've seen a lot of injured and mistreated horses...yeah...it's REALLY REALLY sad. Especially when they have to put them down right then and there  :(

You are very lucky to have those animals, Bairdred. I wish I had my own little farm.
