If you are Mexican American, how do you feel about seeing the following, especially when you can only choose one in each category:
Do you consider yourself to be Hispanic/Latino?
□Yes
□No
In addition, select one or more of the following racial categories to describe yourself:
□ American Indian or Alaska Native
□ Asian
□ Black or African American
□ Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
□ White
I was trying to find an example of the other I see often but can't, it's where they have the mexican ethnicity in front but use white or black in parentheses next to it. Anyhow do you identify yourself as White b/c you are an American? Does it annoy you and you chose the do not prefer to answer or mixed race option that some show?
