Title: Iv'e heard some positive and negitive things about C.O.D.: Black Ops vid game

  I heard that a new Call of Duty game came out on November 9, of this year. (Call of Duty: Black Ops)
I was really excited when I first saw a sneak peak of the game on t.v. one day :thumbsup: Amazing!
The graphics looks ausome, the action seems to tell me that is would be a cool game to pick up, and the fact that it is a first-person shooter video game really makes me wanna goout to Wal-mart and buy it!
Despite the 9.0 out of 10 rating that Gamespot gives this game, I am still undecisive about buying it.
$60 bucks for a video game is a bit pricy and some players have had a few serious bugs with the PS3 version.
So whats everyones' thoughts about his game? I would like to find it on sale somewhere before buying this game :wave:

I like it, but there are a few differences from MW2 that you have to get used to. I have it for Xbox 360, so I don't know about any of the bugs you were talking about. It seems to work fine for me. Maybe you can find it on sale on Black Friday...

It is a good game it is more geared to online play. I found a few glitches in the campain mode, but they were nothing to give the game a negative.
If you compare it to Modern Warfare then it is lacking. The modern warfare games are made in conjunction with another developer. There should be Modern Warfare 3 coming out after the issues with both developers are settled.

I have it, passed the campain and put COD MW2 back in the PS3. For online I'll stick with Medal of Honor.

It is a step down to COD MW2 IMO!

I got it at midnight when it came out haha, i have it on xbox 360 though, and so far i havent had any problems.
It's quite a bit different from MW2, but it's made by different people, you have to remember there are a few different people who make the COD games...
This is more like world at war, it even has zombies.
I think its good that its different than MW2, it's kind of like a whole different game, so to me it didn't replace MW2 it's just like having an additional game.
It has a lot of cool new stuff though, if you like war games I recommend it.
