I don't think it is christmas that wears you out I think it is that everyone has all these ideas of what needs to be done and everyone is running around trying to do everything.  This year I said if I get it done it is done if not oh well.  It worked out so much better.  And everyone was happy still and I am still sane

I was worn out yesterday because I was on duty for 16 hours because some idiot didn't know how to do his job and caused us a four delay (not to mention $500K worth of damage).  Instead of getting off at 11 I didn't get off until 3am.

This year  had 1 goal and that was to finish making 3 afghans for my three grandsons so there was no running around crazy for gifts and then wrapping until midnight or later and this year the adults just did stocking stuffers it seemed to me it was so much calmer I also managed to make 5 hats and 3 scraves I crochet alot  when my grandsons opened their gifts they took the afghans wrapped themselves in them and was very happy I will be doing this again Who doesn't love handmade items. This was the best for me.

Yes, I am exhausted.  With the shopping, cooking, decorating the house for Christmas.  I really enjoy Christmas, a time to be thankful for everything you have.
