Title: do u like watching football or basketball better?

Post by: Tresbn00 on January 11, 2011, 06:22:04 am: I like watching football better because I feel that the athletes are playing alot harder at football and have a lot more on the line as far as injury goes. Both tall and short classes can, and do, play football whereas only one or two short players have made it into basketball. Athletes are trying their hardest for 100% of a football game whereas basketball teams seem to exert their biggest effort in the final minutes of the game.

Football is a lot more physical and exciting, especially college football, than basketball. One thing I do not like about basketball is that you cannot touch your opponent without having a foul called on you. I see so many "cheap" fouls called that it really takes away from the game. Although this trend is starting in all sports, including football, it is getting too ridiculous in basketball. I also like the physicality of football. The emphasis of each play means a lot more in football as well.

Even a High School game is very exciting! It is so much fun to see the kids compete! You really see a lot of talent in the making that way! Like watching "history in progress" :thumbsup:

I've been to my school's basketball games and they aren't that much fun to go to. The football team is WAY worse than the basketball team, but still they are more fun to go to and to watch.
