Some people say Christ was born in the year of 0000 AD or in the time of our Lord. Since time is measured in BC and AD. But scholars say christ was born in the year of 3 AD. What do you think? :dontknow:

i've heard those speculations too. but frankly, it doesn't matter to me. i just know He was born around that time and that it was at the perfect time chosen by God the Father. and i thank God that He was. God blessed us all with that.

There is no year 0 AD. Or 0000 AD. The traditional belief was that Jesus was born in year 1 AD. Modern scholars believe he may have been born around 4 or 3 "BC," actually. I've heard of many different theories for the confusion, including that somebody just did the math wrong when trying to calculate when the events of Jesus's life happened(since the modern dating system wasn't created until the sixth century). The events described in the Bible that happened during the year of Jesus's birth happened a few years earlier than what we now call 1 AD, though.
A lot of people now use the denominators "Common Era" and "Before Common Era" to differentiate the time periods. That way you wouldn't be saying that Jesus was born "Before Christ," which doesn't make much sense, obviously.

I had read somewhere that he was born in August or September, not in December. The site I read that off of is no longer up. The poster of the site didn't say what year though.

Dec 25, 0000.

I heard a preacher on TV the other day that Christ was born in September because of the sheep in the field and Jesus be born in a maneger because it is cold over there in winter time. I also believe he was conceived on Dec. 25.
