Title: Problems with direct deposit

I have been trying for the last month to sign up using direct deposit. I have an account now visa card. When i type in the account number I have to confirm the account number in the box below but, when I click on the box below an error message comes up and says account numbers don't match,before I even type it in. Then when I get rid of the message box the account number disappears. I am stumped. I have tried everything! Anyone else had this problem? Let me know.

I think you need a bank account number.  Not a credit card number.

The bank account entries would include a routing number (9 digits) and your bank account number (12 duguts).

If you are entering a credit card number (16 digits), the system probably recognizes that the routing number is not valid.

Well the card has a routing number on the back and I entered that in the appropriate spot then it asks for an account number. i will try it though thanks for the idea.

SUCCESS! Thanks so much for your help...I am now signed up for dierect deposit.
