I just finished college and got a BBA in Accounting. I plan to stay in a smaller community with my family, so there will be many options as I just want to do basic bookkeeping type of work. With this degree, it should be no problem finding a decent job.

Some will BUTTT MANY, MANy, MANY will not. I do not believe that the economy is going to get any better. In fact I believe that things are going to get worse.

As a retired person I doubt I ever will. I am considering returning to school at my age to help increase my  chances. I think it will take years to get back on track i probabely wont be around to see it. But for my childrens sake I hope ot wont be long

Jobs are still out there, but the demand has made things far more competitive.  The exceptional will still be able to live comfortably, but that's the trick, how do you make yourself seem more exceptional than the rest who want that job?

Things are still fundamentally the same as they always have been.  It's just harder.

What is a good job?
I do not think there is.
Job with good pay is few.
job with hard work a lot!

I hope so. I have a job interview tomorrow morning.  I've got my fingers crossed.  My husband lost his job three weeks ago, so I'm thinking its his turn to be the stay at home parent for a little bit.

If you are persistent and call them back dont wait for them to call you, then it make take some time but you will find something.  There are more job openings now than last year.

So, I was offered a job after my interview yesterday!  As long as things go swimmingly with the new hire stuff, I'll start Valentine's Day, and I'm thinking it will be one of the best Valentine's days ever.   :thumbsup:
