Post by: Willie353 on February 01, 2011, 03:50:23 pm
I know this will be very touchy subject. Some peoiple have different veiws about this but lets try to be civil and respect each other.I personally dont believe either side has the answer. I hope both politcal parties can quit fighting and come up with a solution soon. What do you think? :BangHead:

I agree with you.  I don't think either party can do anything about it.  I think it comes down to individuals and communities.

touchy subjuect or not, this is something that needs to be brought to everyones attention. I do agree with the fact that both parties should come up with a soltion, however do we really think thats ever going to happen? ( I don't mean to sound sinical or anything).  The differant parties have been mud sling for years and u know the saying "u can't teach old dogs new tricks"(this is not directed to anyone here rember we are talking about the polititions).
Pluse its really not up to one party or the other when it comes to the goverment.
Dose anyone one have any thoughts to add?

If you look at one party you are looking at the other.  They are one and the same.  Their aim is to be in power.  Serving the people is last on their minds and agendas.  If you are a multi-billionaire corporation or industry, then you run both parties.  Follow the money...FDA, EPA, Big Pharma, Health INDUSTRY, all have highly paid lobbyist who influence policy...that's who runs this country.  The object is to keep the people confused and fighting each other over which party is the best.  All the while they are robbing us blind and we continue to allow it by fighting each other.  We need to create our own economy by working and helping each other.  No one, especially the government, is looking out for us.

Not a party, but individual philosophies about what can be done.  The are plenty of fools in both major parties.  The basic problems are taxation, government spending, regulation of business, immigration, and energy policy.

I will start this with IMO... None of the political parties has a clue on how to fix our economic problems in America. Not because they don't know the answers or they are not intelligent enough, but simply because it does not affect them in the ways it affects average people. They do not spend money the way we do to have to survive. Most people in politics come from a wealthy background in which they did not deal with a daily dose of make money or starve. Most spend very little of their own money in campaigns and throughout their tenure in office.
The only way these people even know that problems exist is when they visit during campaigning and coverage in the media. I am not saying every politician is blind to the problems in America, but the majority have blinders on and are in control. Above that they have to constant bombardment of money from political action groups who work to keep the corporations in control.
I, too believe, a change is needed, but it is going to take the sweat of average Americans to instill that change, much the way it has throughout our history. We need new industries and more exportation of goods to become competitive in the growing global economy and that will take local companies producing goods and marketing them globally. Corporations have already proved they would rather send our jobs overseas than the products we produce.

Amen- hit the nail on the head here.

Neither, they are all talk and waste taxpayers $$$$$.  That's why the government is trillions in debt.
