Title: what has been your luck with work at home?
Post by: masked_brown_guy on February 03, 2011, 02:34:03 pm
I was wondering since so many of you seem to have been doing well with FC, do you work at home and does doing so realistically meet your monthly expenses?

Luck not so great...but greatful so what I have received.  The only way to make decent money on FC is with a steady amount of active referals. Without that you can still make some good money on this site, but i've only looked at it as a little extra pocket money.  It might pay one bill or one expense but definitely not all of them.  At least not for me.

My luck has not been great either.  Surveys pay only a little (unless you have kids, fit the age and wage criteria and have several diseases) because they are hard to qualify for.  I haven't found a work from home situation that will pay off (need a few hundred a week) but I am not giving up yet.  I think it will take a comittment of 8-10 hours a day to do it and will probably be a minimum wage type of situation.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Nope! I make about $25 every 2 to 3 months on here if i log in every day which really doesnt help. I have an online business but that doesnt make much either so I got a part time job which i hate mainly because of the hours. I take that back I hate the hours if it was any other time of day I think it wouldnt be so bad but I take it one day at a time and 170 every 2 weeks really doesnt help out but I try.

No FC doesn't meet my monthly expenses just a way to make a few extra bucks.

When it's free money, it all adds up. I manage to get $1,000 a month most months and sometimes a little more, which makes me happy.

Thats fantastic, how do you do that?  I am not making as much as I used to, but it still pays for a few needed things.

I also am starting a home business, (just starting)  hoping to make it work in a few months.  I have a couple part time jobs outside the home also.  That has cut down on my online activities.  I make enough, online, to help with a few odds and ends, like diapers for the grandkids and a few groceries.  I hear of people making enough to pay their monthly bills.  I think they sit at the computer all day long to do it. Lots of referrels help.  I haven't had luck in that department though.

I am definitely am not at the point I could work from home and keep up on my expenses but it is nice to have a little extra spending money each month. About $70/mo. I can't quit my day job but maybe I can in the future.

I have had the worst luck with these crazy work at home programs I am so tired of putting money out and not getting anything in return, then when you ask for a refund they say you didnt try or work hard enough at it. Just give me my money back AAHHHH!

I do surveys, paid to click & paid to tweet. I'm not even close to making a living at it but I get between $200 & $300 per month. Every bit helps these days though but I'm hoping to find something online that pays better. Anyone have any suggestions?   :)

Between my spouse and I, we both do very well.  We are signed up for various network marketing companies.

We also sign up for free affiliate programs to sell products which are mostly health products of nutritional supplements and equipment.  With MLM/Network marketing, you usually have to buy something each month.  With affiliate programs, there are no requirements to buy, no quotas, or anything.  Most of those have replicatable websites, or coded sites in which you add your affiliate ID # to.  I've lost count of how many affiliate programs and all that we do.  But we make enough to live simply on.

We also do Amazon Associates, signed up for MTurk (haven't done anything with that yet), Google AdSense, Squidoo (you get paid on Amazon sales in there).  We blog about health, etc... and put banner ads on any and all webpages.  We do crowdsourcing programs like Clickworker (sort of like Crowdflower).

We both are on alot of social websites such as Facebook, Flickr, Google, Yahoo, MyBlogLog, Windows Live, Cheezburger Network, MySpace, etc...

We also learned how to .rss feed one social website into another so that any blogging, posting, uploading pictures, etc... show up on Windows Live and Yahoo profiles' updates.  It's amazing how you can synch all your sites together.  We also .rss our blog into our Facebook, etc...

I can't post any links of course, but if you have a Facebook, you can always search Robert and/or Donna Carrillo.  We mostly got on FB because we both have family members spread out all over and we hardly see any of them, and we stay updated on them all via FB and get to see recent pics, etc...

I've made enough recently to cash out. I would probably do better if completed more offers or could get referrals

You start by making a few bucks like Fusioncash, then expand it to bigger and better things. Most of it comes from learning how to get referrals and I have my own websites to help me do that. Unfortunately if I told you exactly where, it would make me more money and Fusioncash doesn't allow us to do that in the forum. I'm not that hard to find if you try.

Thanks for the tips. I have found that FC forum people are some of the best on the internet. :notworthy:

I spend only a little time a day and quit when I get bored. I do Fusion Cash and a few other sites. I make enough for gifts and small treats for my family and myself.

I have a few online ventures and am looking to incorporate FC into them.  If the referral program is as lucrative as it looks, there is a lot of money to be made.  I don't think it is unrealistic to make several hundred dollars a month if you get enough people reffered.

I have a Real Estate and Mortgage Brokerage and working at home was ideal during the good times but is a bit tougher right now.  I had to get a few jobs to make up for the drop in income resulting from the turmoil in Real Estate and am eager to earn money any way possible.  Point to Clicks have been a good source of income and keeps my economic focus in perspective ie realizing the value of a dollar.

Using a freebie site, gpt site similar to fusioncash and a social network can easily pull in $200 - $300 a month.  But, without many active referrals I think it's impossible to make much more online..well at least in the gpt world.  Saving my earnings this month to jump on OLDBUDDY's earning plan.

FC for me is just to make a few extra dollars, and unless you put in several hours or more per day, or sign up for every offer.  I'm fortunate in that I work from home and have easy access to FC when I have some down time.  I have tried other work-from-home businesses, but most cost money to get involved and require referrals which I am not good at doing.  I prefer to just do a job and get paid for it.
